This tool should be called Victory !
Great tool to have in your box. It’s a same not to have a socket retainer on the square drive, but if your old school you’ll remember the paper trick for not dropping nuts and bolts out of your sockets so this isn’t a problem. Fair price.

Requires a retention ball to hold socket.
Personally never read any of the reviews before purchasing, thought it was a very good concept at the time of purchase. Still is but there is a critical point missing on the tool which is a retention ball retaining the socket to the tool. The socket flies off when trying to use it with an air hammer, almost hit another objects or persons around due the socket flying off during use. The tool is useful and works if properly lined up. Like i said, badly missed opportunity for a tool that would be very useful.

Give it a try before resorting to a saw-all or grinder
I was absolutely happy to remove the stubborn bolt that helds the rear upper control arm on the crossmember on a 2010 Ford Focus. These are always rusted solid to the control arm bushing and simply impossible to remove without destroying them. It looks to me like the vibration transfered to the bolt by this tool makes it free again. No heat was used. This is really a keeper in the tool chest.Like others have mentioned; why in hell there is no clip to hold the socket?? Come on Mayhew, you can do better!

Poorly designed
This is a great idea for a tool but it missed badly on a very critical point. There is no retention ball on socket head. Totally useless. Socket never stays on. Very inconvenient to use. That be8ng said if you can line everything up works great. Used several times. Don't by this find one , find one that has a ball on the socket for retention of said socket .
