I’ve only really put the VTF gauge to work so far, but even with limited use, the overall quality is good. It's not heavy and is a size suitable enough to carry around with you needed. The tools come packed in a semi‑hard zip‑up case that actually feels protective rather than decorative, and everything inside is organized. There's extra space in case you need to store other things. I have a little case with my extra stylus that I also keep in here. The VTF gauge itself is straightforward, easy to read, and does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Making sure that your cartridge is utilizing the correct tracking force is essential to good sound with your turntable. This thing zeros that right in and you don't actually have to fumble as much with the counterweight. I was able to get my cartridge set perfectly to 1.5 g, which is precisely where it needs to be. Everything else looks just as solid. The acrylic pieces are cut cleanly, the edges aren’t rough, and nothing feels like a cheap add‑on thrown in to pad the box. It’s the kind of set that feels like it’ll hold up over time rather than something you’ll replace after a few uses. Another good Hudson Hi-Fi product. If you’re looking for a simple, well‑made set of alignment tools, even if you only need one or two pieces right now, this is a genuinely good option. It works, it’s built well, and it's a great value. Buying decent tools individually will be more expensive, and there's no point when you can get everything in a single package. This is a great deal, and I'm glad I bought it.

The tiny size of this, how easy it is to use, and what it will do for your phone and playback is worth every penny. I was unsure if the scale would do what it's supposed to do, but this little thing is accurate. The rest of the kit is very well made and is a must have for any phono enthusiast… If you don't have one, give one to a friend or neighbor for Christmas and then borrow it !

I bought a atvm95e cartridge and all my records were skipping. I set my counter weight 3 times, made micro adjustments to the alignment til I was blue in the face. Turns out my counter weight was off from where it should have been. By my count, the multiple times I set my weight, my vtf was 2.2g turns out it was 1.85g which is below the minimum recommendation of 1.88. Got it dialed in at 2.1 and no more skipping records. This could have saved me a lot of headaches if I had just bought it to set up my new cartridge from the get go. If you're getting into this as a hobby these are all great tools to have and it comes with a nice rigid solf shell case. My only minor complaint is that I wish it came with the mirrored protractor hudson sells. Thats said I'm happy with the quality and you can't beat the price!

Scale works great. Comes in a nice storage case. Everything works well. Anyone playing vinyl will need this kit eventually. A stylus won’t last forever.

I'm getting better and better at using this set. I've been playing with three different cartridges. This gives the tools to get the tone-arm balanced, the cartridge weighted, the cartridge aligned to be perpendicular to a line to the spindle, and the cartridge aligned to be perpendicular to the record. The cartridge distance placement from the tone-arm pivot needs another tool not in this kit, but a template often comes with the turntable or tone-arm (this comes first in the process).

Cuando uno compra una tornamesa cree que es suficiente con instalar el stylus o aguja y se acabó, para sacar el mejor sonido de los discos lp es indispensable calibrar la altura, peso y que esté bien alineada, este kit es fácil de usar, la marca le pone mucho cariño a este producto, no son materiales premium pero para el precio cumple bastante bien, lo único que le falta es un pequeño nivel porque con la más mínima inclinación de la tornamesa la pequeña báscula falla al calcular el peso del stylus, tiene que estar perfectamente horizontal, un producto de 10.
