The art work is beautifully designed. I actually bought for each of my three sister.Im now disappointed that the color is starting to fade and looks discolored.

If you have any arthritis in your hands this cup is incredible. The warmth from the unglazed portion transmits the heat to your hands making drinking a cup of coffee pure pleasure. Love the sea turtle embellishment too. So far no black residue as described in prior reviews.Update: The cup did begin to turn black so I returned it.

This product in my opinion is not giftable. After 1 week of using the mug, it started to stain on the outside of the mug, dark stains that could not be removed. I too pictures s as no requested a refund, which was given back to me

I love turtles, so when I saw this mug, I knew I had to have it. Everytime I hit the beach I look for unusual shapes for my coffee mugs, this one is just perfect. The way its designed its consumer friendly and the colors are just outstanding. So are the little turtles on the front, the whole inside is glazed with a deep brown color and its just plain lovely. I might even end up with a few more to make a whole set and a statement when the ladies come over for a coffee or tea. Don't hesitate, its a great addition to your house.

We bought two cups as you can see in the picture. One of them darkened within a week of usage where as the other one has no visible stains with the same usage pattern. It seems like we did not get a good quality cup. It can be a hit or miss. We really love the shape of these cups and it’s really sad that we can’t use these much!
