Im heading back to mainland from Hawaii and needed a harness and leash that didnt have any metal on them. After reading the reviews, I ordered a medium size for my 11 lb Chinese Crested.Super happy that shipping was incredibly fast and it arrived within 3 days to Hawaii.Pleasantly surprised by the construction. The velcro closer is wide and holds securely. The clips on the harness as well the rings are made from heavy duty plastic. The harness itself fits my lil girl snuggly but does not hinder her movement. So far, so good.Will update once we go thru TSA screening.

I have dachshund mix that I was flying with for the first time. (His, not mine). I found this and knee it would be helpful getting through the TEA screening. And, I have nothing but positive things to say about the item and especially the seller.First the item, because that's probably why you are reaching the reviews. It's a simple step-in harness, easy on & off. The velcro connector is sturdy and strong. The plastic D-rings attachments on the harness and the plastic clip are heavy duty, and even strong pulling at one point didn't weaken them, at least not noticeably. Two things to consider: the clip on the leash is strong and can be hard to detach if you've arthritic hands. The other is, size up. The Velcro connection adjusts but not the straps with clasp with the D-rings. I can't emphasize that part enough. But... if there is a problem, contact the seller..Yes, I'm reviewing the seller too. Because she was extremely responsive, and helpful. The first I ordered was way too small. The second almost fit. And she still worked with me, without any snark, and we exchanged it again for the next size up. Shipping 3 times, still got me set up by my trip, without added expense. So many times sellers make the buyer jump through hoops for exchanges or returns. This did not happen.Thank you for such quality service and an excellent product.

I got 2 of these, a small and a medium (measurements are very useful and vital), they arrived quickly. They were helpful in the sense that I felt more comfortable going thru TSA; from making several phone calls I learned that you can ask for a private screening room. I wrapped the cats in towels as the vet tech suggested, and of course had the harnesses on so there was absolutely no way of them escaping. TSA staff were good in the screening room; before we got into the room they were uninterested in doing the "pet scan". I was so glad I kept the harnesses on them for the entire trip, which was long; one of them got out of the carrier in the car, and it was dark. I was able to grab the harness and put him back in the carrier, without the harness, I don't know what would have happened; we were all tired and freaked out by that time (almost 12 hours). The harnesses were invaluable!!!

So excited about this purchase. The medium harness fits my 9 1/2 pound puppy. Glad I checked the sizing as this would is only thing in medium that fits him. This will make my travels so much easier with him when going through TSA security. Hook on lease seems a bit stiff but that is ok. Glad I do not need to worry about losing control of him with no lease on when collecting my items going through TSA.

We use this for our cat (American Short Hair) when riding in the car. It works great even for "Houdini". She likes this best of the three we have tried. It give her the most freedom while still provide us some as much control as one can suggest that they have over any any cat.Do pay close attention to the sizing provided. I didn't and bought the Small (she's a little cat). I needed the Medium.She was able to get out of it only once and that was because we were in a hurry and the sides were way too loose. We found that with Houdini we needed to make sure the sides were snug (no slack) without being tight. No escapes since. In the car I think it actually provides a little extra comfort--much like the Storm Jackets used on some dogs.

I really thought this was well designed at first. However if your cat starts to back up and you pull forward on the leash, the cat can wiggle it’s arms out of the harness. If you leave the Velcro even just a half inch too loose it’s easy for the cat to slip out especially if it has really soft fur. My cat did this despite buying the correct size for her and it being tightly secured. Luckily she came back home, but I would not recommend this harness.I also bought this thinking I would have to remove it at the airport, but they didn’t ask me to. So if you’re getting this for the airport you can probably get a safer one even if it has metal on it.

I used these to keep control of my two cats while going through airport security on a recent flight. In retrospect, I probably didn't need them as the cats were very well behaved, but it gave me peace of mind to know that I had something attached to the them that I could hang onto, and to know that the harness wouldn't cause any problems with the metal detector. I liked that the harnesses were very easy to put on, and it was easy to detach the leash once we were through security. They just wore the harnesses for the flight, and they didn't seem to bother them much at all.

We bought the harness and leash for our indoor cat. We are moving and driving from NY to SC. It will be about. 13-15 hour ride. Our cat Sam will be needing some stops and we do not want to lose him. We have been practicing in the house to walk him in it. Even though he isn’t happy he is getting used to wearing it. It seems secure and more comfortable than another harness we had bought in Petsmart. It would definitely be great for airport travel as all clasps are plastic making TSA inspection easier. Would recommend this product.
