These dupont connectors are good quality and similar to others I have used. The thing that really stands out about this kit was the size and material used for the hoods. I often want to crimp two 26 gauge wires in one pin. These seemed to be large enough that the two wires fit easily and snapped into place much more firmly than the hoods I've been using.The one flaw was the packaging. When I received the kit, the hoods were all mixed up and I had to hunt for more two pin hoods. Believe me, the hunt is worth the extra quality of the pins and hoods...

Okay, you got your shiny new Arduino, or Raspberry Pi, ESP32, or something else, and you're just itching to use it. You're going to need some Dupont connector wires.Now, you can go with some assorted length set of wires for a while (just search here, lots to choose from), but eventually you're going to want some custom length wires so that your mental perfection circuit doesn't keep making you wince and twitch when you look at your creations.Enter this assortment of connectors. Just bring your own wire, and you'll soon have beautiful, magazine (remember those?) cover quality, gorgeous builds. You'll be proud, and your friends will be blown away.All kidding aside, these are good. If you need to build Dupont cables, for whatever reason, get this starter kit.Oh, and get a crimper for these ends too. Don't try to use pliers, just pay the extra and get a proper crimping tool.

I bought this along with an IWISS SN-025 (which is great, btw). The crimping of the pins I think I have figured out thanks to youtube videos. But I have quite a bit of trouble pulling the crimped pins then through the connector block and locking them in reliably. I often end up having to use a long-nosed pliers to pull the pin, and this sometimes deforms (flattens) the end of pin a bit. The clips on the connector blocks also sometimes appear not strong enough to prevent the wire from pushing back out when e.g. inserting the connector into a breadboard. It could be just my inexperience but it is worth noting. I have not done this type of crimping before and cannot say if this is "normal". Apart from that, there are more than enough of the black connector blocks. I'm sure I will run out of the individual pins before I run out of any of them.

Good amount of supplies for the price. They work with crimps nicely and the connector housings fit some other crimps that I have already.

Perfect for my Raspberry Pi projects.
