I did a full upgrade on my GT avalanche. I wanted to switch to a 1x drive system but didn't want to spend so much money on the big name brand components. I watch several reviews on this crank set and decided to give it a shot. This new style hollow bottom braket is inexpensive and alot lighter.At first I noticed some plastic parts, but realized that even shimano who came up with the design used plastic sleeves and spacers.I'm glad I purchased this crank set. Not only was it easy to install (with the right tools) it looks awesome, extremely quiet and very very smooth. I'd recommend it.
