I liked the story and plot, and the lost kids amongst very rich families but this book had way too many holes or pieces that were WTF.Maybe considered spoilers, so don't read on if you don't want too:- How old is Pierce? It isn't really ever said but at times he acts about 21.- He has this very distant relationship with his brothers due to a huge age gap (oh, I guess I could do the math) and they never show up for him ... but he never says that. He just drinks and parties.- Lindsey is recovering from a huge accident (book 1) but I find it almost stupid part of the plot that almost 3 times she tries to push herself and ruin it all by RUNNING. I just didn't find it believable.- The brothers part of the storyline was resolved in the end when P wakes up .... but WE GOT NONE OF IT! He just mentions it to L!The Epilogue while CUTE felt super rushed and barely any details.

EPIC
I never write reviews for the books I have read. I wasn't sure if I had already read Explicit as my Kindle had to be reset and while all the books I had stored came back, I couldn't determine which ones I had already read. I can honestly say never has a novel held my interest to the point that I stay up all night reading. This is the story of two very wealthy twenty-somethings, Pierce and Lindsey. Both have been hurt by their parents lack of interest. Lindsey's parents give her money when she calls but never bother to talk to her. Pierce's entire family are estranged from him because they see him as nothing more than a party boy. Both crave attention, but for both of them, they have to give their families a wake-up call to set things right. This book is heartbreaking in how these two very well developed characters are portrayed. They each have one singular goal, which is for their families to see them as adults and worthy of acknowledgement. Lindsey has an easier task, but Pierce's is heartbreaking and takes a wake-up call for his parents and brothers to accept him unconditionally.Lindsey and Pierce help each other understand that they are more than worthy of being loved as they are now, and not as they used to be. There is sex and foul language in this book, but rather than taking away from the story, it adds depth to the characters. I loved this story and can't wait to read the next two. I sobbed through the last quarter of the book, and books never make me react that strongly. It's a must read.

Pierce and Lindsey have stolen a little piece of my heart!
I don't know where to start in describing how incredible Explicit is!! I was immediately drawn in with the first sentence in Chapter 1, and I didn't stop reading until I was finished. It is so amazing and has quickly become my favorite book from her. Ahh, it was just so, so good!! (Even though this is the third story of the Lancaster brothers, you definitely don't need to read Clandestine and Sordid first).Pierce and Lindsey are two beautifully broken souls, that find something in one another that they never got with those who should have given it unconditionally. They gave each other acceptance and understanding. Showed the other they were worth loving and healed the parts the other thought was too damaged to be fixed. You can’t help but fall in love with them, as they are something special.Seriously, if you haven't read from her yet......pick this book up. Read it. Enjoy it. Love it. Have some tissues handy too, because there was more than one time that I had tears in my eyes. I absolutely love all of Ava Harrison's books, but in my opinion.......Explicit is her best work yet! It is definitely another story that will be added to my favorites of 2018!!

Huge 5 stars for Explicit!!
Oh how we love the bad boys and Pierce Lancaster has bad boy written all over him and gahhhhhhh!! I just loved him! He was by far my favorite Lancaster and Ava Harrison definitely saved the best for last! Pierce and Lindsay were both so broken but together they just fit. They were a perfect pair and I just fell in love with this story!Lindsay helps run a boys center and even though she has a trust fund, doing something worth while and meaningful means more to her than a simple pay check. Giving back to the community is her passion and she is perfect for it.After getting in trouble one to many times, Pierce must do community service to stay out of jail. His path of destruction leads him to the Boys Center Lindsay helps run. They run the in same circle of friends so she’s taken back when She sees him there. She knows his past and how he is and she’s not about to give him any special treatments. There is no denying the two have chemistry and their story is not an easy one. There are twists and turns and one point I thought I was going to loose it! I messaged the author that I wasn’t going to speak to her anymore! Lol! I love Ms Harrison so I doubt this would happen but I did threaten her! This is the kind of book that gives you all the feels and makes you love the characters despite in their flaws. Explicit takes me back to why I first feel in love with Ms Harrison in the first place! This was some of her best work and if you’ve not read her works yet, you need to! Explicit can be read as a standalone! This was a huge 5 star read and one that I highly recommend!!

5 Explicit Stars!
Ava Harrison has saved the best Lancaster brother for last...Pierce's book is so good! The bad boy of the family, Pierce struggles with addiction and denial. He's struggled finding his place in a family filled with success stories, grabbing attention however he can. When he goes too far, community service is the only thing keeping him out of jail. The youth center where Lindsey spends her time may be his salvation in more ways than one.Lindsey also struggles with self-esteem and self-doubt. She's been battered by life, but she keeps on trying...strong and determined despite the setbacks thrown her way.Pierce and Lindsey are awesome characters... Perfectly imperfect, wonderfully written, easy to root for. Their determination to help others brings them to common ground, and that results in spectacular, scorching chemistry. I loved them separately and together. I actually loved everything about this book too...it is deserving of 5+ stars!

Interesting
Pierce is a rich spoiled adult seeking attention. Into the party life of booze, drugs and women only to seek the attention of his family good or bad. After a while you get into the why’s and how’s and actually begin to understand. This book turned out to be a good read. A bit slow at the beginning and it was predictable at first, however by the middle it was beginning to surprise you with twists and character involvement. This is a my first book for this writer and I find her interesting.
