dimensions are listed as 14x16 but also listed as 3.2 x 11.2 x 5.8. Which is correct? I am trying to deflect air from 12x8 floor vent. will it work?

The length is adjustable. I believe that the depth (the opening) from the vent to the deflector would be 3.2 inches. The width of the deflector where it sits on the sides of the vent is probably about 5.8 inches. And the deflector is in two pieces and made that it slides in and out and would probably cover vents from about 11" to 16". I cant give accurate measures. Mine is hanging from a vent in the ceiling above my tub. Why anyone would put a vent over a tub is beyond me. But it has done an excellent job and I'm happy with it.
