so flimsy it just broke apart in the first hour. useless product.

Works great. Nice size. Not super robust, but definitely not thin and flimsy. Adjustable lenght. I prevents curtain ends from blocking vents.

The ceiling vent in my bedroom was ill-placed; on the far side of the room, just above the large window. The way the vents are situated, all of the a/c or heat pretty much went out the window, pun intended. In the summer I sweltered, even though therest of the house was cool and comfortable. In the winter, I had to add blankets because I could never quite feel the heat. After four seasons of frustration, I was browsing Amazon when I saw this product. To be honest, I was skeptical that a piece of plastic with a couple of magnets would do much for my temperature issues, but I figured at worst I would only be out seven bucks. It has been a couple of weeks now and as summer has decidedly given way to fall and we've switched from A/C to heat in the evenings, I have to say that if I had known what a difference this product would make, I would have thrown $7 at the problem a year ago!!! All of the air flow has been properly diverted back toward the actual living space of my bedroom and I am able to enjoy the same temperature comfort as the rest of my home. If you too were screwed by thoughtless home builders and your vents are awkwardly placed, save yourself the headache and buy this product. Now!

It is unique in that it works for a/c air and for heat. I also love that it was versatile both in size adjustment and in ways to mount it. The magnetic mounting works great and is strong. It allows you to mount vertically (for double high vents) or horizontally to direct to air either up, down, left or right. You can also choose to mount it with the screws from the vent with ability to adjust the deflector up or down. The price is right and it is delivered quickly.

Nice, thick plastic at a more than reasonable price. The magnets work well too as long as you have a grill that the magnets can adhere to. I have a number of these throughout the house, move them around occasionally, and haven't yet broken one so thumbs up for this product!
