How to fix the controller issue
I see several reviews complaining about the controller not working. I had the same issue and it is very easy to fix (I hope they read this :) ).In my controller one if the metal bracket that was supposed to contact the battery was slightly misaligned and was not touching the battery ( thus no power to the controller). I took some small pliers, shifted a bit the metal piece and that was enough to fix it.A voltmeter is helpful to find out if what is the metal part not contacting the batteries ( put the batteries in and check voltage at different point untill you find the spot where voltage drops to zero)Other than that it was a nice built and kids like to play with.I only wished the motors had variable speed. They just go from on (full power) to (off). It is cheaper than similar lego remote car. Example the Lego buggy cost more than 100usd... but Lego has also extra features ( variable motor speed, Bluetooth connection to the phone, gyroscopes, etc...) that this one doesn't haveStill for 1/3 or 1/4 of the cost (depending on the the deal you get) is a great toy and great value for your dollars

Everything is Awesome
This is my second unit, the first unit arrived with a bad transmitter I contacted the company and they responded within one day and quickly shipped out a replacement transmitter. The customer service is by far better than most U.S companies I've dealt with. The Transmitter seems cheap and toy-like, product itself is challenging if you've never done these types of "Lego's" before but if you take your time the final product is very rewarding. All the parts were made with extreme precision and snaps together seamlessly. The models are robust and feels sturdy after assemble, motors are fast and moves the model with no issues.Definitely will buy more from this company, the product is good, but more importantly the customer service is great, they stand behind their product.Highly recommend this product. If you're looking at this, just get it. You won't be disappointed.

Many tiny parts.
We liked all the different things that a young imagination could possibly build with the many configurations offered. A bit challenging for the younger ones. But fun and keeps them interested.

A huge success that is very durable
I let my 8 year old grandson select this project. I did most of the work. The instructions were easy to follow and it was a quick build (about 2-3 hours, I didn't time myself). Afterwards, he really put the toy through its paces and it held up well. I found it well worth the money.

Gift
once put together the battery pack did not last long, the receiver reached out to the company and they sent another entire set. Great response time and great service with sending another kit.

Battery is terrible, but the toy can be rescued.
When we bought this for our 9 year old for Christmas he was very excited. After putting it together even more so...then the battery died in about 5 minutes of use. We charged it fully and it died again within 2 min. Another charge and it was about 20 seconds. We ended up returning that one and ordering another and its battery was even worse.Luckily I'm a Mechanical Engineer and play with things. I opened up the compartment and took measurements of the case and found these batteries, though a tight fit, will actually work. I had to modify one of the chargers and I clipped off the wires from the battery (see pictures for my modifications)Long story short the two sets of red and black wires each like a 3.7 V battery. The battery it needs has one Black, One Blue (3.7V) and One Red. So, of the leads from the one new batery you take a red from one, and a black from the other and tie them to the blue, then you have the other black to the black and red to the red.B[- +] Bl [- +] RedLike that. The case itself needed some modifications to get the battery to fit, but it will fit.https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0B3JGVYDN/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1Once I threw away the old battery this things works for hours of entertainment. But they lose 2 stars for terrible customer service getting there, and making my son sad until I could get the time to figure this out. If enough people think this useful I'll take some pics of the battery case.
