Sterling Silver Plated Necklace with Teardrop Purple Pendant LP- B00CMH31EQ

This pendant IS very pretty, though, unlike the other reviews I won't rave about it or say it's perfect. Perhaps my expectations were a bit too high after reading those other reviews but I was just a teeny bit disappointed when I first put it on. The purple stone is very vibrant and pretty so I have NO complaints there, BUT I'm not amazed with how the pendant sits on my chest, or how it looks from side views. From the front it looks rather nice. That, along with the quality of the stone & chain is why I give 4 stars. But from either side it looks somewhat bent and funny. The pendant doesn't sit flat on my chest but rather curves out like a "C" from top to bottom. I wondered if a shorter chain would help this, but then it also seems the very top "spiral" part that hooks to the chain, (above the initial ring above the amethyst stone) protrudes farther than the pendant itself. This is what gives it the "C" curve look from the side I think, then the pendant bottom protrudes a bit instead of sitting flat on my chest. This is the only reason I give 4 stars intstead of 5. I think I was expecting something that would look expensive and would make my jaw drop. It just wasn't so. But, If you just want a pretty necklace for a good price it IS a lovely choice.

This is a lovely necklace! It gives off a very elegant feel. You could definitely wear this if you need a small piece of jewelry to complement a nice outfit.I have only minor complaints about it. The pendant is just a little smaller than I was expecting, and it's not quite flat on the back; the top and bottom curve away from your chest just a little. So it looks a bit odd from the side, but otherwise it's a very pretty, very minimal piece.

I wish it would have said, chain not included. I could have avoided the embarrassment of giving my girlfriend this beautifully set stone, with a p.o.s. of a chain. A broken , confusing clasp that will frustrate you to the point of leaping off your roof. I should have checked it out first. Not pictures of chain really. I didnt read the reviews. dont be me. lol luckily I bought her an amazing bouquet of flowers before this chain come in the mail.

This is a fine peace of jewelry especially considering the price. For crystal gurus it is worth mentioning that the stone is a bit small (thumb nail sized). The casing and chain are very nice and it feels great to wear on a regular basis. I even wear mine while landscaping or at the beach and it hasn't broken in any way.

I did not know what to expect with this necklace but it exceeds my expectations. The Amethyst stone is larger than I expected and nice and vibrant. I got it as a gift for my cousin's 35th Birthday on Wednesday and I'm sure she will like it!Good item for the price!

I should have known better at this price. The item is so large and fake looking it is pathetic, and I would be embarrassed to give this to anyone. I assumed that because of the low price, the pendant would be quite small, but instead, the overly fake stone is huge and looks ridiculous. I read many reviews of people saying it was with the money, but I have the full intent of receiving my money back to put towards a better bridesmaid gift.

So pretty and a nice size. Looks expensive.

My girlfriend absolutely loved this. I bought it for her birthday and all she could do was scream and wanted to wear it so bad. This is one of the best purchases I've ever made. I definitely recommend this guys!
