Great value!
This is an incredible value at the Amazon price. You could pay $200 or more for a suppressor cover.I’ve only had it to the range once.Fit perfectly on a Yankee Hill Turbo K.I was making adjustments to an adjustable gas block so I would fire 3 shots, adjust, 3 more, repeat. The suppressor got very hot, but after reading reviews here I knew to cut off the nylon tag inside. The cover worked great. It got very warm but protected my skin and my range bag from damage. The cover did not melt or burn after 60 rounds.

Works
Works well to cover hot suppressor so I can put it back in the case. I don’t leave it on while in use.

Not full auto rated, but does a decent job otherwise
Decent can cover for paced shooting, but definitely not full auto rated. Had it on an Aero Lahar-30 (it fit perfectly if you put a rearden XL on it) mounted to an AR with an FRT. 2 mags within 10ish minutes and it was smoldering on the inside, dumping smoke. It was fine for the most part when I was running it on a binary AK though. Make sure to cut off the inside label, as it definitely was the first thing to burn.

Solid product
In the age of cheap Chinese junk, this ended up being exactly what I was looking for and surprisingly well built for the price. Perfect fit for my Dead Air Mask HD, the cord synch at the end is perfect to keep it snug and stop it from slipping forward and risking a strike. Excellent heat dispersion and it even seemed to absorb and dissipate the heat after spirited shooting. Very high quality that is typical for Mechanix. If you have a suppressor and shoot regularly, this is an essential investment.

It will melt if used for any kind of sustained fire
The inner insulation appears to handle the heat just fine, as claimed, however the outer shell will melt. The outer shell is wrapped around the inside edges, and those are where it will melt.Had this on a 556 suppressor and it melted after about 80 rounds in. Ran 60 rounds through one platform, swapped the suppressor over, it was fairly warm at that point but appeared to be doing its job. Once on the 2nd host, I ran about 20 more shots through it and noticed the cover was starting to smoke pretty significantly. I pulled the cover off the suppressor and watched it for a bit to make sure it wasn't going to catch fire. Pulling it off the suppressor left streaks the entire length of the suppressor. I continued to send rounds down range without this cover on, and the thermal distortion without the cover in place was much more pronounced. When I was done I went to remove the suppressor and discovered that some of the melted nylon had gotten into the QD mechanism and prevented me from being able to remove the suppressor. I had to disassemble the host to make things fit back into the case , and then had to take a torch to the suppressor mount until the material was hot enough to become a liquid to get the suppressor unmounted. This was a very unpleasant experience, and the fact that this product left residue on the suppressor that I can not remove without damaging the finish is also very disappointing.

Impressive Suppressor Cover
Super impressed with this suppressor cover. I run it hard and hot and for the price point you won't be disappointed. I have another 3 times as expensive and the Mechanix is just as good. Makes sure you cut the tag off the inside before you break it in.

Melted on suppressor
Removed tag from inside but still had some material melt onto suppressor. Less than thrilled about that but at the end of the day it’s a tool. Works great for reducing mirages from hot can and that’s really all I care about. If you have a safe queen it might be worth looking for something else, but if you’re looking for functionality over everything else it works. But will leave melted residue on your can.
