Soft, juicy, and sweet!
My mom needed dried pears for a recipe for Thanksgiving and we couldn't find them anywhere. I was hesitant to order fruit from Amazon, but I have a reputation for being an excellent shopper, so I was determined. These arrived in a nice looking package (although the label that said "pears" was tiny, and on the back!) and I tasted one to make sure it was okay. It was phenomenal! She hasn't used them yet in her recipe, but I will enjoy eating the ones she doesn't need. They are very soft and juicy and sweet.

These are just ok. I do like the consistancy - they are generally moist and chewy - but they don't taste alot like pears, more like generic fruit.
