Alaroo Women's Printed Pleated Flared Midi Skirt

This is a great skirt. I absolutely love it. I was afraid it would be low quality and too small, according to other reviews, but I took the risk and ordered it. I arrived extremely fast and to my surprise it was perfect. I got the Hokusai one, the fabric is beautiful, the print is amazing quality. A little bit tight around the waist, but my waist is around 34 inches, way above Chinese average size and it still fits. I an really happy with this product and definitely will purchase other models.

First, if you are larger than a womens US size 6, this is not the skirt for you. That said, this is a nice skirt made of a sateen fabric with satin lining. There is NO stretch to the fabric. The front half of the skirt has a flat waistband, and the back half of the skirt has elastic. There is an 8" zipper on the right side (backwards, but whatever). At full stretch of the elastic, I zipped it up... barely. I'm really sucking it in, though. I wear a size 8 pant. But... I'm on a diet, so I think I'll hang on to it. If I can lose one inch on my middle, it will fit :) Pretty sure this item is made overseas, and not for 5'9", 155 lb women. This is to be expected - and giving this skirt a lower score because you can't fit into it really isn't the sellers fault.The colors are bright (I got the flamingo print). The blue sky of the flamingo print is much more of a baby blue or powder blue than the light grey-blue/ cadet blue in the picture. Birds are same vibrant pink and lavender, though.Skirt is about 1" past the knee, so a nice moderate length.Prepare to steam this skirt when it arrives, or toss in the dryer with some wet towels... cuz it's gonna be wrinkled.Again - This skirt is for size 6 and under. If you are larger than that, you're going to be disappinted.

I am about a size 14/16 with most of my weight in hips/thighs/butt area and this skirt fit perfectly. I work at a higher end plus sized fashion store and I was surprised to see that the skirt was well made and came with a slip. Because I actually work at a plus sized store I would NOT recommend this skirt for someone above size 16 UNLESS they are smaller in the waist and bigger around the thighs/butt. When I first opened the package the skirt was extremely wrinkled but that was easily taken care of with a quick run through the dryer. The colors on the skirt are very bright and bold just as it is in the picture. I wasn't unable to find instructions for washing the product in the package. I washed my skirt with other bright colored clothing on a cold gentle cycle and dried on medium heat. This skirt did not fade, bleed, rip, stretch, or shrink in the process of washing. I am very pleased with this product and I will purchase more colors in the future.

This skirt is definitely the "bluest blue" aka TARDIS blue.There's also a typo. PUBUC instead of Public, I guess it could be worseIt has an elastic along the back & a long zipper. I'm 5-3 & a small/medium. It's the right length on me & there's plenty of "room to grow" in the waist It would probably fit a medium/large who wasn't over average height. I've had medium skirts without as much room in the waist. The elastic means it doesn't hang off either it fits comfortably.The long zipper is nice for us pear shaped ladies.It is lined to the about midway down the thigh.It's a cute skirt. I especially like how some TARDISes have lights on & some have their lights off.However, and this could be a big however. I don't think it was authorized for sale in the US (no care tags as required) nor authorized by the copyright owners since it would have care tags & and a sakes tag. Who are strict on copyright/trademark enforcement. So I wouldn't count on it being available forever.I was thinking of buying another design from them but the lack of care tags means I probably won't because I'm not sure how the dyes/seams will last. It could also shrink the first time it gets washed.

It's like a joke about a skirt. Except it isn't funny.First, the waist measurement is about two inches smaller than specified in the product description. The fabric is NOT stretch; it's a stiff, shiny polyester with no give or drape. The back of the waistband has an elastic insert, and the stiff fabric gathered over it is bulky--if you wear a fitted knit top over it, you'll look like you're wearing a fanny pack.But saddest of all is the low-quality construction. Irregularly-spaced pleats, fabric accidentally caught in the seam, a narrow sloppy hem--your Home Ec. teacher would give you a D on this. Look elsewhere for your cute printed skirt. This one isn't it.

I am so in love with this skirt!! I wasn't sure what to expect and after reading other reviews over and over again for like 4 days (in fear that this was going to be too small) I finally decided I would order it and if didn't fit I'd just return it. No harm done.Well I got it and it fit like a freaking glove. I wear around a size 8 and I would say this skirt could potentially fit up to a size 10 depending on where you wear it on your body.My favorite thing about it is the front is flat fabric on the top but the back is elastic which gives it some give when needed.The zipper was a little cheap feeling but honestly, for the price you can't go wrong (even if you eventually have to put in a new zipper). I can't express how much I love this skirt. I wish I had more places to wear it...

The skirt fits perfectly midi length and I’m tall (175cm). It just misses a jupon under to make it less sheer.La jupe died parfaitement, taille midi et je fais 1.75m. Il manque juste un petit jupon pour pas que ce soit transparent.
