The Nozlen Expanding Document Tube Model DT3001 expands from 24.5" to 40" with 21 adjustable locking positions in 3/4" increments. This Lime colored tube now has a longer shoulder strap. The strap is long enough to use even when the poster tube is fully extended. This telescoping tube is great for poster collectors, artists, draftsman, use on job sites, for students and professionals. The screw on end cap makes storing and removing documents very simple. The removable lid cap allows you to store your contact information or tube storage details for easy identification. The screw on cap with a tight seal makes the Nozlen Document Tube both water and light resistant. This tube is made out of a very durable plastic, and is not "flimsy" in any way. The document tube is perfect for posters, art work, drawings, blueprints, maps, arrows, large photos, vintage posters, etc. This is a 12 Pack!

Interlocking prongs are too loose, posters ended up on the floor
Bought this tube to carry three fabric posters that are 40 inches wide. It has a clean look, and with an adjustable length how could I have said no at that price...The tubes size adjustment occurs at three interlocking prongs which sounds like a great idea, if they were not too loose. The thing kept coming apart and dropped my posters on the floor too many times. I ended up taping it at the seam to prevent it from unlocking.Yes it may look cool, but has shoddy construction, and I’d say buy something else.

Makes a good poster tube
I purchased this product to use as a poster/art tube at concerts and festivals. It performed excellent in good weather conditions but I haven't had the misfortune to use it in the rain. It has, however, been stepped on, sat on, and laid in a puddle of spilled beer without any damage to the contents. My one complaint is that the inside of the tube is not smooth. There are small indentations on the inside that allow it to lock in place when expanded. I was worried that this would damage the contents. I avoided that potential problem by placing a standard 89¢ poster board from Walmart in it first.Overall, I can recommend this product for use as I've described.

The top one is in a recessed area and is holding up great. The other band
I have 8 wipe one/off charts for workshop presentations that I need to lug around. All 8 charts fit into this tube. This tube fits into my suitcase and the charts seem to be holding up. I am careful about taking them out and returning them at the end of workshops. The only complaint is the plastic band holding the strap. The top one is in a recessed area and is holding up great. The other band, at the bottom of the tube, is exposed and breaks very easily. The company replaced the first one quickly based on a phone call so kudos for customer service. However, just returned from a trip and the new one has broken even though it was packed in my checked bag. It is a design flaw. If the bottom band was in a recessed area, I think it would survive. I'm going to attach a Velcro band and see if that will work. The tube itself is exceptional.

gets the job done
This tube is great, I wish it locked a little more securely to the certain size, but it did a great job of protecting two 4' x 3' science posters on the trip to and from Santa Fe. The bright color also sets me apart from other people with poster tubes.Update 12-15-16: I am currently on my second trip with this poster tube, it is still brighter than the typical black tube, but I have a couple extra things to say. I had to carry a bigger poster this time, 42" x 56", and therefore I extended the tube as far as possible and duct taped it in place. It holds up great, and the strap still was loose enough for me to wear it across my chest (I am a medium/large framed 5'6" woman).

Decent poster tube
I got the bright yellow so I'd be less likely to lose the tube or mix it up with someone else's. =) It's a bit tricky to adjust the positioning of the strap in order to extend the tube, but I got it to work. I mostly carry posters for presentations at professional meetings. The tube accommodates a decent size poster for this purpose (40") which is a bit more than most other tubes I could find. However, a standard poster printer takes a 42" paper roll and most poster boards are sized so that this can be the height of the poster with a slightly longer width, so I'm confused why most tubes aren't that size. I just make my posters 40" high by 42" wide, but it's always really tricky to actually get the poster to roll lengthwise (opposite the direction of the paper roll).
