Lucas Oil 10906 Brake Parts Cleaner - 14 oz

This is some good oil, i use it in my riding mower and it’s worked great for years now. It is a good brand and a good value for the money. I recommend using this oil.

Works well

The bottle goes by faster than a paint can with how much force it blasts out, but if you're painting metal, this product works well to degrease large areas of metal before using spraying paint primer. You'll need about one 14oz can for a long shotgun/rifle barrel, so you may need 3 cans if you have a metal stock and hand guard. I believe I rubbed away a residue left over from the cleaner, but I can't recall as I used it a while back. It's way faster, easier, and non-rusting if compared to using soap and water, so I'd still suggest using this on painting projects over dish soap. You don't want moisture trapped between primer and gun parts, pitting away invisibly. My spray paint is fixed onto the barrel real good, so the primer grabbed onto the steel very well.

Pretty good, not as effective as what my shop orders, but still effective in getting the grime off parts and leaves it dry quickly.

Due to the high cost of maintaining a diesel, I've had to learn to complete all of the work myself. There are a lot of products on the market that claim to be a good fit, but I don't like putting products in my truck that I can't trust. Lucas Oil is a trusted brand so finding a good deal on Amazon worked out for me. I don't have much experience with brake cleaner, but this product did what it was supposed to and I am very pleased with it.

I'm using this to clean some surface rust and evaporated grime off of a CNC mill, and it works well at that application.

We are missing 11 out of the 12 that was supposed to come !!! We have only received 1 can for 48$ this is a rip off and we are absolutely not pleased.And it looks like we can’t even return this item or receive what we ordered not happy and will do what we can. I’ll be calling my credit card and have this amount refunded.

I ordered 3 boxes according to the seller's advertisement, but seller sent to me 3ea and charged $84.6. If you need a brake cleaner, we recommend the CRC brake cleaner.
