Murphy's Naturals Mosquito Repellent Balm, Plant-Based, 0.5 oz (Pack of 3)

I really was skeptical about this, but unfortunately I've been telling people about it for free. It's worked great for me so far; I'm a bug magnet and I can collect 5 bug bites in 5 minutes, but while using this I get either 1 or no bites on 30-minute walks. It also smells really nice; there's a bug spray undertone, but it's mostly lemony, herby, and beeswax scented. I've actually put it on just for the smell. It's not super greasy; it's like a thin, thin coat of vaseline. Lastly, the best part, it's no mess to apply and easy to carry around, so it's really convenient. I'm forced to admit I will be back.

I spend alot of time outdoors and my yard is wooded with a large pond so lots of bugs come along with that. Any DEET products just attract the mosquitos and I end up with just as many, if not more, bug bites. I decided to give this product a try and I am seriously impressed because I have not been bit once!! It’s also easier to use because I just roll it on instead of spraying and getting it in my face and I like the smell too.

Bugs love me, but I don't feel the same way.😄When I'm outside relaxing in the backyard, all kinds of bugs and mosquitoes love to fly around me and sometimes land on me. It's very irritating.I've used many different sprays. Today I was using some Cutters lemon eucalyptus oil on the lounge chair and on my arms. I spray Lafe's insect repellent on my face and neck and some on my head (love the scent). The effects only last a short time before they start buzzing around me again.I just got these Murphy sticks a few minutes ago and rubbed it on my arms, face, neck, upper chest and a little on my feet.Wow, I can already tell the difference! At first, no bugs flying around. Then I just saw one, but a huge improvement.Since I just started using it, I don't know how long the effect will last.The scent is pleasant, considering it's an insect repellent. It's way better than most that I have used.So far, I'm very happy with it.UPDATE: After using it quite a few times, I would say it's good, but not great, so I changed my rating to 4 stars.I still see bugs flying around me, but not as much as before I used it. Sometimes mosquitoes land on my arm where I have the balm on, but they haven't actually bitten me as far as I can tell.I have since bought some mosquito repellent pouches, spray and a mosquito net to put over a hat.It covers from the top of the head down to the chest. I bought all of these on Amazon as well, but haven't tried them out yet.

This was my second time ordering this product because I’ve had such great results and I wanted more to share with friends on upcoming trips to Colorado and Vietnam. The small size is perfect for travel or to keep in a purse for unexpected mosquito encounters.Fragrance is nice and the product is similar to lip balm in texture so it goes on easily and rubs right in. It’s a must for travelers who hike.

I wouldn’t put anything else on my skin!

I needed an entire stick while at a BBQ in the park for 3 hours and the sticks are mini size. I needed alot, almost emptied the second stick just sitting in my yard with friends. I do really like the smell and the lightweight feeling but Im not buying one stick per day. I need something thats a stronger repellent

These are small and very handy to keep in purse or backpack . I like the smell, and mosquitos hate it. A bit of info - my doggie liked to lick my hands but then got sick if I had applied it to the back of my hands. The ingredients are toxic to dogs. Otherwise I’m very happy for the small travel ready balm.

I like how small it is because it’s very easy to carry around, but if you compare price per unit is very expensive
