Burn better with some hardwood blocks added
As other people said, it burns good initially for around 30 minutes if you use only pellets. When fire starts to dwindle after that point, if you add too much pellets, say more than 2 handful, it can smoke thick white cloud. However, in 3-4 minutes, hot ember will get fire reignited and clears the smoke almost instantly. Our better experience is that to add some hard wood chunks/blocks to burn with the pellets. You then don't have to closely monitor the fire all the time since it now lasts much longer without having to add pellets every a few minutes. We use electric chainsaw to cut the normal fire logs shorter to fit the height of the burn bowl. Additional 2-3 normal hardwood logs+ 25 lbs pellets will last hours till past midnight. The next morning, you can still see ember smodering if leave it overnight (cover the top opening and place firepit at safe area of cause)We like this fire pit overall. One heck of new tool to smoke away mosquitoes 🦟 is that now you can easily do that just by adding some more pellets and let it smoke!

Perfect for short city camp fire experience.
Full flames to ashes in about an 1.5hrs when using pellets from Canadian Tire. Enough time to toast marshmallows, send the kids off to bed and make sure the fire is out. No unexpected pops that can burn your furniture or clothing like you get from real firewood. A little bite of charcoal fire starter fluid to help get it started and away you go. Flames look like it’s coming from a gas fireplace. Packs up nicely. Base fits neatly into the pit.Looking forward to trying some ‘real’ firewood to see how long it burns for.

Works Great
We are pretty happy with our smokeless fire pit. It is the right size for our backyard pad, we can sit pretty close to the fire, because there is no smoke. The neighbors don't even know we are having a fire. We can use it to roast marshmallows with the kids we even roasted bread dough on a stick. If we fill it up with 2" of wood pellets, the fire and heat will last approx 45min which is about enough.

Inexpensive - get what you pay for.
LikesThe price: at $129, by far cheaper than Solo stove. Has handles that stay like warm.Burns ok. Takes a little while to start burning when adding new fuel.DislikesThe vent holes in the burn layer are small and are easily clogged with ash.The burn layer is quite shallow when compared to the brand name stoves. As a result less fuel can be added at any given time. I find myself constantly adding wood.
