Derivatives Essentials: An Introduction to Forwards, Futures, Options and Swaps (Wiley Finance)

For anyone beginning to learn or curious about the derivative market - I would highly recommend checking this book out. It makes the language so much easier and approachable - you WILL sound smarter after reading this book NOT because you learn fancy terminology or strategies but because you will be able to comprehend the concepts and therefore explain what it all actually means more coherently. Instead of simply stating the "It just is." to the "Why?" question, you will be able to actually explain exactly why it is and what it means.

This book is simply the best. Even a third grader can understand the options after reading this book. Not math heavy. Explains the concepts in very simple and understanding ways. Definitely an addition to my library.

This book turned out to be super clarified and detailed. It helped me figure out the conceptual understanding of derivatives. And it's worthwhile to keep this book as building up a solid base for entering derivative markets.

I wanted more strategy for long term money management like cost-less collars and other strategies to be used situation-ally. The book was more about basic types of options and the factors that affect pricing.

Amazing book for anyone interested in learning derivatives and investment strategies! Explinations are extremely clear and helpful, would be a great study guide for part 1 of the CFA exam.
