3M Clear Paint Protection Bulk Film Roll 6-by-25-inches

So instead of the usual tank pad I needed something wider due to the tank on the Hayabusa. This PPF roll is enough for about 3 attempts to protect the tank. Followed some youtube video advice. Polish, clean with alcohol and use soapy water. I measured with a centre line and cut before application. Then I wet my hands and removed the backing and could slide the film around to suit. Used a hair dryer and a squeegee (got mine from super cheap auto and it had a vinyl side) to remove the water as i went. I'm pretty happy with the result for an amateur install. Edges aren't great, but that's on me and theres enough for a couple more attempts. Can't speak for longevity, but it looks good and will protect the tank. Should mention it was 3M branded and arrived next day. Just check the size, 6 x 25 inchs isn't much, like I said, a couple goes at the tank protection is all you'll get.

I bought this item to make a screen cover on my new Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. I used rubbing alcohol to clean cell and placed automotive film on screen. I used a hair dryer to get a good wrap on the edges. Used an exacto knife to cut around screen. At first is looked like hell with bubbles everywhere but after a week it settled and everything is very smooth and now I have true edge to edge protection on my cell. Worked well with cell case too.

This film turned out more semi-transparent than clear and thicker than expected. It doesn’t really do the job if you want invisible protection. To make it worse, my reorder wasn’t the same - the original had 3M-branded backing and was more flexible.
