Had to replace the water line in front of my Vegas house. A $3,500 job, so the few extra dollars for this protection was well worth it. The plumbers did a good job, but were only going to put foam insulation around the PEX. I told them I wanted this around the PEX first. Great extra protection with the kind of soil we have out here.
