This sun shade is a great addition for the Jeep, especially during hot sunny days. It cuts down on heat and glare while still letting air flow through and keeping that open-top feeling. Installation was simple and the fit was spot on for the Wrangler. The material feels durable and stays secure even at highway speeds. Definitely recommend for anyone who drives with the top off often.

I took a chance on this item as it was cheaper than the competing item sold on amazon. I did not buy both so I cannot give you a comparison to the competing item. I am happy with the quality of the item and it claims a 10 year warranty on the shade itself and 3 year warranty on the bungee cords. I installed on my JLU Wrangler with the sky one touch power top. They provide you with a folded piece of paper to use as a tool and help you thread the front bungee cords between the roll bar and windshield without having to unbolt your windshield. I had to make my own "tool" with a folded piece of packing tap in order to thread the bungee cords on the side roll bars between the sky one touch power top roof - it is a very tight fit. Although they have a diagram of which bungee cord lengths to install where on the roof bar, because of my sky power top roof, I had to change the location of some of the bungee cords to accommodate. The bungees create good tension on the shades and this is what makes installing the most difficult - pulling hard on the bungee cords to create the tension. I am 5'6" and I drive with the seat in the lowest position and with the shades in place I do feel they are close to my head. I can imagine taller people possible grazing their head on the shade unless they drive with the seat reclined some. It definitely cuts down heat from the sun and also wind for the backseat passengers. My kids riding in the back hate how the wind beats them when top is open and now with the shades the reduction is wind is noticeable for them. Update: I have notice other reviews commenting on the bungees being too short. To me they are the right size. If longer, they would not create enough tension on the shade and you would have looser shade flopping more in the wind. Seems like the bungee cord people have the most trouble with are for the center on the large rollbar between the front and rear opening. I attached a picture as a work around. Use the 2 bungee cords (one meant for the front shade and one meant for the rear shade) in conjunction with each other instead of trying to stretch a single cord around the large roll bar. Hope the picture helps you understand what I mean.

So far so good, easy install, perfect fit, the material seems to be of good quality, it’s tight and no flapping, and I’m able to keep the shade when I put the hard top back on

Overall it’s a really solid product. The instructions are not the best by any means, but there are videos you can check out on YouTube that show how to install everything. The shades are super tight so there is no noise or flapping going down the road and really helps in filtering some of the sun off of you. I’m about 186lbs and can even lay on them as well while installed and chill in them like a hammock. Can put hardtop back on over them without removing any of the straps, it does make the front panels a little more difficult to access, but just pull down and you can fit your hand in there enough to flip your latches. 4/5 starts just because the directions could be better, but I would deff recommend this product and buy it again.

So far the top mesh is great. Keeps the sun out and is very secure. Some of the bungies were very hard to get on, but some elbow grease and you will be fine. Once you realize that they are strong and won’t break, it becomes easier to man handle them and get them on. Very happy so far, and you can leave them on when the top goes back on. Makes it cozier in the cabin with the mesh on. Would def recommend.

Love them! Install wasn’t too hard , requires a little strength but I did it by myself, the window tool helped a lot in the front I didn’t have to loosen the windshield bolts like some did just took a minute to find the spot that it fits through. They provide instant cooling relief compared to just the open top having the sun beat down on you, they seem pretty sturdy and tight (haven’t highway tested yet). Overall for the price they’re amazing ! Love the color options and matched my purple accents on my white Jeep nicely .

Bought these for my 2022 jeep wrangler 4 door. Keeps the sun off and makes significant difference in temperature. Saw some reviews about not knowing which straps go where but mine came with easy to follow instruction. All boungies were labeled and there is a diagram telling you where they go. The front windshield ones are difficult to get between the window using the provided paper. It was much easier to just unscrew the windshield and tip it forward a little. Quality is good. Would buy again.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Normally I go with Spiderweb Shade or Alien Shade, but I saw others saying this was practically identical in terms of looks and durability and it was less than half the price (a fourth of the price of some of the more expensive ones). I decided it was worth the risk and bought it. Those people were correct. This feels no different than the competitors' shades I have used. Installation wasn't EASY but it wasn't hard at all either. It probably took me a out 45 minutes but that included putting the rear shade on backwards and having to flip it and redo it. It will give you a bit of a workout though stretching all those bungees. Follow the directions to make sure you're installing the correct length bungee balls in the correct location. When you route them and go to hook them around the ball, stretch the bungee super tight to give you the necessary slack to get it around the ball. Watch your face if your finger slips or they will flip back around the bar. If you install it correctly, the fitment will be perfect and you will have zero wrinkles or slack in the shade (thus no annoying flopping in the wind). Couple tips... for the front t-hooks. There was no need to loosen the windshield bolts. Just have a little patience and slide the folded paper (hook tool) around in the gap gently until you find the location where you can slide it through. It's there in several spots. For the front outside t-hooks, make sure you push them through as far over to the outside edges as possible. There is a bolt a few inches in at each side and if you're to the inside of that bolt, your shade will have a big annoying looking wrinkle in the front. You may have to reach inside the trim panel after you push the bungee through in order to hook your finger on it, but again, with patience you can get it and not need to loosen the windshield or use any tools that could cause damage during installation. Look at the diagrams closely during installation and get your bungees in those exact locations. If your installation tool paper rips, you can quickly create a new one by using 2 sheets of paper folded longways. If you have access to longer sheets of paper (like for business contracts), create a longer tool with them and it will make it easier to retrieve the paper as you pass it through the windshield gap. Also hang on to both ends of your t-hooks as you're installing them or you will lose track of one end and have to push it back through the gap again. You will want to avoid pushing them through over and over and over again. It's not hard but it gets frustrating fast every time you slip and have to start over. My only gripe is that if you have a soft top like me, you have to stretch it around the latches every time you open and close the top, which isn't the end of the world but is a very mild inconvenience, especially when you pinch your finger in the latch trying to hold the shade out of the way while closing it. It would be neat to see a revised design (small 1-2" notches in the front of the shade) that leave the latches fully accessible with no need for stretching. I also can confirm, if you're running a Bestop Supertop Ultra on a 2018 JLU Wrangler that you can install all the bungees as instructed and they will not interfere with the top opening, closing, or sealing. If you have a hard top with the freedom panels, you may have issues easily accessing the latches for that.

Just put these in today. Easy instal. Love it. Can’t feel the rays from sun too much. Just driving with top off. I’m sure we’ll enjoy this year with the top off 😊
