I had been looking at this 3D Hologram Fan,27.5"Hologram Fan for a couple years--watching YouTube videos and reading reviews; I finally pulled the trigger. This 3D Hologram Fan,27.5"Hologram Fan is crazy awesome, my wife said it was a "best buy." It arrived on time. It was packed very well. It was extremely easy to put together (you can scan a QR code for an instructional video [the instructions say to push in on side tabs to insert the fan blades--instead, PUSH DOWN on the tabs to insert].) Believe it or not--the images look more vivid in a good light setting; why: you can see the wall, and this gives the image a more vivid and floating 3d look ( you'll see!) Issue: the 3D Hologram Fan,27.5"Hologram Fan that I received, had a scratch on the back of the motor housing as if someone had tried to put it together. Also, the TF card was not in the package. However, I did not return it. I did contact Amazon and the seller. Amazon customer service notated my issue, and the seller was more than friendly, and told me the TF card had already been installed since images were displayed and the fan was working fine. The seller was going to compensate me, but I didn't except since everything was working fine. The seller did send me a free image to display. Suggestion: you may want to mount the fan on a camera tripod. I used: JOILCAN Tripod Camera Tripods, 74" Tripod for Camera Cell Phone Video Recording, Heavy Duty Tall Camera Tripod Stand, Professional Travel DSLR Tripods Compatible with Canon iPhone, Max Load 15 LB. The connection between the fan mount, and this tripod mount fit perfectly i.e., the bolt hole size is perfect. However, you will need a 1/4 inch longer bolt. Summary: The 3D Hologram Fan,27.5"Hologram Fan by Missyou is AWESOME!!! Their customer service takes care of you! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS FAN by Missyou.

Either the included videos or anything you create is re-sized automatically within the device and the viewable image goes outside the edges of the viewing "screen" area. Once it does, it breaks the illusion of a hologram. I had numerous rounds with the seller and they kept requesting me to send them a video of the issue. Apparently, the app you download has no controls for re-sizing, contrast, color, or anything other than uploading to the device. Also, the speed at which the blades spin and the material they are made of makes this extremely dangerous! And it automatically starts when you plug it in, which could lead to serious injuries. There should be a prominent warning stating this. The idea behind this is good, the company just needs to consider this built inside a protective barrier as well as create better software.

Good initial set up. Easy to put together. Acceptable directions for set up. The app is cumbersome and unintuitive. Content loading is a struggle so far, we will see.

The unboxing and assembly of the fan was easy. The blades with the letter A go in the slots with the letter A. Once I had it assembled, I plugged it in and it played a list of pre-made animations. The animations are saved on an SD card that is in a slot inside of the moving part of the fan. You have to gently push against the SD card for it to pop out. You can then add it to a Windows PC. It comes with a windows installer for the SpinDisplay app. I installed this app on a windows computer and read through the documentation but could not get it to work on my Windows 11 computer. I was about to return this fan. However, then I discovered the iOS SpinDisplay app. After much frustration, I found out that you can hit the plus sign in the playlist and then there is a dialog where you can upload images and videos. For the app not to crash, you need to hit "Choose" (bottom right) and then there will be a conversion dialog where the video is being converted to LED persistence-of-vision format that is compatible with the fan. Once it is converted, you can then use "Send" (top left) to send the file to to he fan. This file will then be part of the local library and will also be part of the playlist. The iOS app also has a library of pre-made videos for a variety of occasions - in case you do not want to make your own videos. The app will only really work if and while you are connected via WiFi to the fan. The network SSID of this particular fan starts with "F70...." and the password is in the "Help" section of the iOS app. You need to be connected to the network before you start the app. All of this is very very finicky. I restarted the iPad multiple times and at some point it finally connected. Summary: This is not a plug-and-play type of appliance if you want to change any of the default pre-existing content. It requires a lot of finagling. The documentation is very vague and seems to have been created for a prior version. The YouTube videos about this device have also not been helpful because they were either vague or used a different version of the Windows software.

It looked really cool, but one blade was half-dead.

This is an amzing tech device and a lot of fun to us. I have made a lot of .jpg pictures and either through the app or on the pc able to load them and play them through the fan. Just remember if you want your PC to talk to the fan you must connect the PC to the fan's wifi, not your wifi. So you need a PC with wifi capability. Then you can see the files on the Micro-SD of the fan and add, change, or delete and play from the PC. The company has super fast support and responds to email questions very quickly. Just remember when you are checking the prices this is not one of the very small ones that are cheaper. It is 27.5" diameter.

Ist nicht für den Europäischen Markt geeignet. Beschreibung mini, nichtmal mit der Lupe zu entziffern. Nur auf Chinesisch und schlechten Englisch. Mit Android nicht kompatibel. Außerdem liefert der Fan nur 3D und nicht wie abgebildet ein Hologram und ist viel zu laut.
