hose seems fine so far, sprayer broke before it was even hooked to water hose.

It's great! Was cheap enough that I took a risk on it but the expandable hose is a game changer. It expands when you turn the spigot on and then when you're done, just turn it off and spray the remainder of the water out for the hose to contract again making it super easy to manage. The sprayer is fine, seems cheap, but gets the job done. Would certainly buy another one of these hoses again!

We have a lot of landscaping and some new sod that need extra water with these 100 degree days. With three outdoor spigots and having to go from hose to hose to hose to get everything watered and then get each hose put away has proven to be quite the daily chore. We have been wanting to try an expanding hose to see if they really do take up less space, are lighter weight and do not kink. We have been using this 50 foot Magic Expanding Hose for about a week and so far have been very pleased! The actual hose out of the box is about a third of the length it can stretch out to, which is about 60 feet. It is in fact lighter weight then standard hoses and it does not kink! The brass fitting easily fits onto the two spigots we have used it on so far. It has a thick washer and has not leaked. The hose has a shut off valve on the end and it does not leak when turned to the off position and the water flow can be adjusted with this valve. We use the nozzle that came with this hose, which has eight water pattern settings, i.e. Cone, Mist, Full, Center, Flat, Soaker, Angle, Shower. It is easy to adjust the settings, but is plastic so have to be careful not to drop it on the cement. Never using an expanding garden hose before, I was surprised the first time when I turned the water off at the spigot and how quickly the hose contracted back to the smaller size and I could then just wind it around inside a small pot. No more having to drag a heavy hose around the yard and no more kinked hoses. Also, those hose winders do not ever seem to work like you ever want them to and get to be so frustrating so no more of those to deal with either. So far we love this expanding hose and hope it holds up over time and for more then just one summer. The only negative comment I have is I never would have picked a red hose, but would have preferred the black. Should we encounter any problems, I will update this review.UPDATE: We have tried four other expandable hoses including one being a replacement or three other brands this summer and all have failed within a matter of days if not right out of the box. I hope I'm not jinxing myself, but this hose is the only expandable hose that is still functional and is my "go-to" hose. I have used it everyday since it arrived and it has been the only reliable expandable hose we have used. It is also cheaper then the other hoses, so at this point, if we were to purchase another expandable hose, this would be the hose we would get.I disclose I purchased this product at a discounted price in exchange for an unbiased and honest review.
