KLEAN-STRIP GKSP94214 Odorless Mineral Spirits, 1-Gallon

I intensionally purchased this formulation of Kleen-Strip Odorless Mineral Spirits (Ultra-Low Odor) because it is not for sale or use in California (I live in another state). Since it isn't CARB compliant, this formula dries much quicker, allowing me to apply oil based paint almost immediately after using this mineral spirits to remove remaining dust particles from a prepared project surface! Due to quicker drying, the danger of spontaneous combustion of used rags is reduced in my properly ventilated space, since the vapors are dissipated sooner. Another benefit was that with quicker drying there was less opportunity for dust particles to be caught by the wet solution prior to applying the paint. There was no residue on the project after wiping. As always, use appropriate PPE and adequate ventilation, especially when using this product! The container doesn't list the VOC %. I located the following info on the MSDS: Percent Volatile: 100.0 % by weight. VOC / Volume: 780.0000 G/L

Definitely odorless, no doubt about it. A VERY faint smell, that's about all. Cleans all different types of paint. Acrylic, enamel, oil base, undercoating, and whatever other kind of paint is on the market. Cleans brushes with ease too. Takes paint off you're arms, which is a big plus. No need for a new rag every time you use this stuff either.. It just evaporates off the rag, leaving the paint stain behind. Great product. Not expensive. I wish it would take off that " crazy glue" stuff. You know that glue that takes off you're skin if you accidentally get you're fingers in the mix. But it does not. Gotta use nail polish remover for that :(......Great product that goes a long way !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
