Did not think it would work as good as it did
Love this!! I mix a full tube of the violet with a full tube of the red color. I also use the recommended developer and it creates a perfect color. It is permanent so it doesn’t fade. Although your hair won’t wash out clear for months, there will be dye in the water & on your towels so I found some that were a similar color that don’t show the dye. Really affordable & quality color for the price. I have never really done my own hair before but I will keep buying this as long as I continue doing my hair red / purple!

Great for dark hair
I ordered the Red Violet color and used 30 volume developer and cuticle sealant. The color shows up either red or purple depending on the lighting, and considering how dark my hair is, it shows up pretty well. It's not always visible in darker lighting but that has more to do with developer and natural hair color than the product itself I think. The application process was easy. I reccomend using larger amounts and allowing more time for the color to set if you have thick or dark hair.

Great color
I absolutely love this brand and color. I get compliments on the color all the time. Do know this needs a developer to use it. I use a 20V and the color is beautiful.

Not the color I wanted
The color is more like a vibrant red. I was hoping it was what was described a violet red.

THERE ARE NO VIOLET UNDERTONES
I ordered this color thinking it would be a wine, maybe even burgundy.. but rinsed my hair out to see nothing but orange. Fortunately the color is pretty and matches my skin tone but it definitely should NOT be in the “Violets” collection. It’s a deep rust color if anything.

J'ai vraiment cru que ça allait marcher
Ça n'a rien fait sur mes cheveux. J'ai suivi les instructions sur la boîte, plus de 30 min sur ma tête comme indiqué. Mais lorsque j'ai passé l'eau pour rincer, toute la teinture est partie. Je tiens à préciser que j'ai des cheveux noirs crépus.

It is not purple!!!
Work very well for dark hair, my not show a lot on black hair tho.. The color is red violet so the result is a dark red with a touch of violet! Still a beautiful color, but not what I was expecting! Use 30 developer with it!
