I want to make jelly is this suitable for jelly?

I don't think it would taste as good due to the additional ingredients. You can buy dried elderberries (Frontier sells them here on Amazon) and use them to make jelly.

What is the shelf life of this when sealed? How long can it be kept once open?

I have used the product 6 months after it was opened and it still had the same excellent results.

Is this a plastic bottle?
