You’d be surprised how hard it is to find a glass with a lid that doesn’t have a sipping or straw opening on it. I like to drink beverages outside in warm weather, and in the spring and summer we sometimes have a few fruit flies inside the combination kitchen/dining room that have ruined quite a few drinks for me. After searching travel cups extensively, I happened upon this non-travel mug with a simple but well-fitting lid that can protect my beverages. I haven’t used it for tea and I don’t drink coffee, but it’s surprisingly great for beer. It fits a single 12 fl oz can’s worth of beverage inside at once and seems to keep my drink colder longer than most glasses. The wood lid and handle look cute, the handle is sturdy and easy to hold, quite light despite being sturdy, and it is very easy to wash. I have arthritis so there are times when I can’t use my heavier mugs, so I plan to buy some more, for cold drinks and tea both. Very happy with this find!

Pros:- The handle is very sleek and since it’s not attached to the cup on both ends like a traditional mug, it’s easier to hold and more ergonomic in my opinion.- It’s made of borosilicate glass which allows it to be a clear mug; you can see the liquid (which is helpful for judging how strong your tea is + I just like seeing my drink).Cons:- The glass is pretty thin, I can see it breaking or chipping if you slam this cup or manhandle it lol. For me, it’s held up good so far though.

Works well on a mug warmer, given its flat base. The handle is well-designed and comfortable. The steel infuser works well with coffee as well as tea.The only flaw is the lid. After using it for a day it started bending and on the third day started cracking. A glass lid would have been better. It would have been also better not to include a lid, instead of including one that is not suitable for the job.

Strong glass and handle and very beautiful wood handle looks nice in or office highly recommend to everyone.

I specifically purchased this mug as it has a FLAT BOTTOM. I use a mug warmer and coffee does not stay hot if the bottom of your mug is inverted as 99% of them are. After only a week the wooden handle fell off so I had to super-glue that back but otherwise it works great. It is dishwasher safe but I handwash. The wooden top is cute and I use it to set my bagel or breakfast pastry on top of my mug!! I initially purchased this in 2022 and have recently purchased another one. Love it!

My boyfriend bought me this because when I saw the photo I went "ooh! I like that design!" And I do like the way it looks. I like that you can see how dark your tea is getting. I like the style of the tea strainer and the wooden lid. But the thin glass does not keep the tea warm for very long, compared to my ceramic mugs. That's probably why they advertise it with a mug warmer. Luckily the tea strainer and lid fits my ceramic mugs. And also, this will be great in the summer when I want to steep a tea blend and then have it cool down relatively quickly. (Which is something I like to do.) So this will get use, but it's not that great for hot beverages without the mug warmer.

I was having trouble getting coffee cups to stay hot on my Greechane "Coffee Warmer for Desk with 3-Temp Settings," purchased here on Amazon. I determined I would need a flat-bottomed cup made of ceramic or glass (so I could still heat it in the microwave). This has just the flat bottom you need for good, even heating of your coffee. My only (semi) complaint is that, contrary to some reviews here, the wood handle DOES get hot in the microwave.
