Great customer experience with seller and shipping. I noticed the beard balm in this kit has a grainy texture requiring a lot of rubbing in hands to smooth it all out. If you don't get all the grainy bits warmed up and smoothed out in your hands you will have visible "bits" in your beard all day. I've seen this in other products and it might be just this particular batch, I'm not sure. The beard wash and oil are both great and smell good but I've got to recommend alternative beard balm.

Great product. Smells wonderful. I highly recommend. Too bad the guy I bought this for ended up being a lying jerk. Hope he gets razor burn after he runs out of this fantastic product.

My gf got me the beard wash as a gift a few months back, and I've been hooked on this brand ever since. The smell is amazing, and it's been a huge help in controlling itch and any sort of dry skin issues. The beard balm, though I haven't noticed anything much from it just yet, also smells amazing and may start to help out more with further use. The oil is, as before, amazing, and the comb that came with it is sturdy and would probably be more use to someone with a long beard than it is to me. All in all its a heck of a nice package for how little it costs, and the product is top notch and works better than most others I've tried before.

And I wish I could return this set, but I don't see an applicable choice to tick, so I guess I have to suck it up.I sprung for this set because I bought a bottle of the sandalwood beard oil locally at a drug store. I love it! I love the smell and I love what it does for my beard. I saw the set, and thought "ooh, more sandalwood products to like and enjoy." The free comb was an incentive, but alas (and this is my fault for assuming) it isn't made of wood. It looks great and feels and works great, but I had thought how nice it was going to be for the comb to become polished by use, with the beard oil soaking in and all. Well, my mistake and I blame myself for my assumption. But, it was a freebie, so what the Hell, right?But, the beard balm smells awful to me. I don't detect much if any sandalwood scent, and what I do smell, is a smell of "grain", like I've got food in my beard. I suppose it's the rice bran extract. I kept thinking "I know this smell" but couldn't quite name it, then I look on the ingredients and thought the bran extract must be it. IDK and it doesn't really matter. I can't take this smell. I'm not going to melt it and add an essential oil to try to overcome the smell, because I know I'd only be masking it.The shampoo was also a disappointment in the scent department. No sandalwood scent at all, and it smells like plastic. Not good at all, but because it's rinsed out and doesn't linger, OK. Plus I'll be using the beard oil on it anyway, so what-the-heck. It does seem a bit harsh, which might be what some want, a shampoo that strips out all the oils and what-not that has become caked in. Anyway, I'll stick with shampoos I already have.I suppose I could tick "giftable", because it's a sharp-looking box of sandalwoody promise. But because of what's in there, even the great price isn't so great after all. None of the products was irritating to me in the least, so I could tick a "for sensitive skin" box, but since I have "regular" skin, I don't want to mislead someone with "sensitive skin", since that could be anything.So, for a set called "Sandalwood", the oil is the only product holding up to the promise. I don't recommend this et and I won't buy any of the products it contains again, except the oil. I love the beard oil.

I just feel like this is nothing special. Typical mens scents and nothing lasts or makes any kind of impression. For the money the presentation is a 10/10. Great gift younger guys. However, I purchase this for myself and it left a lot to be desired. Nothing on the sellers part, but the product itself isn’t that impressive.
