This automatic Fish Feeder Food Dispenser is a game changer for fish tank care when on vacation. It can be set to dispense every 8 hours, 12 hours, or 24 hours. I found that if using flakes type food you need to break it up a little smaller to make sure the unit doesn't get clogged / blocked with larger flakes. The unit works best with smaller particle food types. It is easy to use and the portion control is great for keeping your tank clear of excessive food distributions with the right adjustment setting. The unit is the right size to easily feed fish for up to 3 or 4 weeks depending on the setting frequency. Love that it can clip onto the opening of the light hood of my tank. Very Pleased with this fish food feeder.

Easy to set up. Plenty of options to cover our tank size and fish. I tried a couple types of food and found one that works well for us. Once filled, the feeder lasts for several weeks feeding them twice per day. I have yet to change the batteries. I also had one before this but dropped it and broke it (my fault).

You can't exactly control how much comes out of it. Even when you try it either dumps a lot or almost nothing. I was using betta pellets and they are very small so that probably wasn't helping. It's easy to put together and durable. It has a base that makes it stable if you leave it alone but I was still paranoid about it falling over. It's small so it's easily portable. It could just be a user error thing and I didn't realize it doesn't work well with betta food. Still a decent product I just think you need to have larger food for it to work better.

So easy to set up. This is my second. First was so difficult to set up. Throwing it away!

Settings aren’t the best - feeds too much even on lowest setting. But it kept my beta alive while we were in Florida for a whole week so I guess it did its job.

This is cheap junk. Not worth it. It's very inconsistent with the amounts. I use food granules and tried setting this up before vacation. Dialing in the exact amount I want to dispense is difficult, but even after it seems to be working, it still ended up dumping way too much when we went on vacation. I came back to the messiest my tank has ever been. The mounts are also not great unless you have a tank without any sort of lip. I couldn't find a good way to mount it with my cover. It's hard to direct the food unless you use one of the 2 mounts provided. The package also contained some sort of suction cup mounting bracket, but it didn't fit with any of the other parts and was not referenced in the instructions. The plug is also USB, so you'll need a usb adapter to actually plug this in. The instructions make it seem like it will have a battery and can be charged, but it can not. IT must be plugged in to work. It's so hard to find anything decent on Amazon anymore.

Works like a champ for pellet fish food. I have used 1.5-3mm food pellets bought for vacation use but I never stopped.

Very easy and convenient to use.
