I wouldn't recommend this. Quite flimsy and in terms of how it worked, it just pushed the dirt around the floor rather than pick it up. I think it is suited for an already quite clean floor or a carpet, maybe my issue is that the floor was dirty. But then, if I had a clean floor why would I need this. Definitely not for hard floors, as advertised.

BISSELL Natural Sweep | Easy-Empty Sweeper For Carpets And Hard Floors is better than I expected. My mum had a Bissell in the 1970s and was telling me about it, so I looked it up and it still exists! A review on here said it was great for indoor rabbit straw, so, as this is why I need it, I bought it based on that one review! Hooray, it is true! It does need moved repeatedly over an area, so this is different from a vacuum, but its fun and easy to do. My carpet mats are various thicknesses and textures and this Bissell grabs the straw, hay, hair and disappears it! It doesn't like my smooth wood floor, so I can just sweep everything onto the carpet, then it deals with it ;) It’ll never be a big suck Henry hoover, but it’s perfect for easy, instant, wireless jobs that can be done whenever you want. On the undersurface are hinged trays at both sides and this is where the stuff hides and its so easy to hold over a bin, flip, then its empty, no clasps, screws or impediments. A device that works and doesn't need batteries, electricity, wifi or 5G! Genius. It can be hung on a door or wall and the head folds flat, so its discrete with nothing unsightly sticking out. Don't notice its there. Its ideal for small homes. This wonderful companion isn't perfect (it refuses to pick up rabbit poo), but its simplicity and ease of use is a joy. Even my son, who doesn't entertain vacuums, because lugging them about and plugging them in is a hassle, was curious and spontaneously tried this and now still uses it because its easy and fun! It can even be used while sitting or in a wheelchair. Its accessible and Disability friendly. The only problem is that the rabbit now deliberately and violently chucks straw all over the place, which it didn't before, so its likely it finds it entertaining watching the Bissell magic it away and thinks its a game!!

It does what we wanted it to do.

Although a sturdy manual carpet/floor sweeper it proved to be somewhat difficult to assemble the handle as 2 sections fitted together OK, but the others seemed slightly out of true which meant taking it all apart and trying different combinations. Finally got it all together. Also a little difficult to empty so would not suit those with poor eyesight or mobility of hands. Otherwise sturdy and effective as it picks up well.
