Q: So i am a size 44 on waist and 2xl on shirt will plus size fit me because i’m reading reviews some say it’s too small and others say it’s too big?

That's exactly my husbands size and it fit him the way he wanted it to. Oh and he's 5'9 if that makes any different.

Q: is this worth the buy for haloween

I REALLY, REALLY liked it, for the look not for the pain of it. For one I am a guy 5"11, 230lbs and it would not fit, also its not all sperate, in other words the shirt, tie and I think vest were all one piece, so when you get hot, you can not open it up like a shirt or adjust it better, also of course you have to buy the gloves if you want it to look right. And mask is floppy, it would look better if you just bought another mask to go with it. But again of course you get what you pay for. Nice but didn't work for me.
