Buy it
Been using this car seat for about a year now and it's been great. It such a comfortable seat. It reclines and the buckels nor straps have never given me any problem. It sits great in my van. The color is super cute too. Head support is exactly how we like it. Not flimsy and adjustable. It isn't heavy or unmanageable. Has easy anchor clips. Value for money, 10/10. My daughter has NO problem sitting in this carset and takes a wonderful peaceful nap EVERY car ride. I've bought lots of car seats in the 13years I've been a mother, and this one, has been perfect in every way. Its not complicated, its cute, won't break the bank, and the babies love it.

Pleasantly surprised by the quality and easy installation of this seat!
Carseat shopping and installation is a nightmare, but I was pleasantly surprised by this seat and am very happy with my purchase. After a lot of research, I had previously ordered the Safety First Grow and Go EX Air 3-in-1 Car Seat and was extremely disappointed with it for many reasons. It did not recline far enough in our car for my 1 year old, and I could not (and several men could not) tighten the LATCH straps tightly enough for it to be safe in the middle back seat. Moreover, the LATCH straps were nearly impossible to remove. I also felt as if my baby was being suffocated by all the excessive padding. This venture left me discouraged and pessimistic about convertible carseats in general and I began searching again for a good fit within our price range. The Graco Extend2Fit was a bit of a gamble as I knew we would still be dealing with LATCH installation woes, but I liked the model I saw in the store and decided to give it a chance. I have not been disappointed. This seat reclines much farther, making it a good fit for my Corolla's sloped back seats. The LATCH route must be at a different angle from our last seat, because I was able (7 months pregnant) to tighten the seat by myself so it barely moves and is definitely within the 1" regulations. No getting all my male family members involved! I was also so excited to find out that these LATCH clips have an easy-release red button that means I no longer have to wrestle to loosen the belt to remove. The only downside to this is I could see the button getting pushed by accident, so I will have to keep an eye on the strap to make sure it stays connected. The colors are really cute, the safety belt fits my baby comfortably, and I am excited to use the extra leg room feature as she grows over the next year. Overall, A++ to Graco from a tired, happy mom. :)

Peace of Mind, Comfort, and Built Like a Tank!
This Graco Extend2Fit is hands-down one of the best investments we've made. It’s incredibly well-built, easy to install, and most importantly—our little one loves it. The padding is soft yet supportive, the straps adjust smoothly, and the entire seat feels safe and secure from day one. The Extend2Fit feature is a total game-changer. Being able to keep our child rear-facing longer (safely and comfortably) gives us serious peace of mind. Plus, there’s tons of legroom without cramping the front seat. We’ve taken it on long drives and not a single complaint—our kid naps like a champ in it. Adjustments are simple, cleaning is easy, and it just feels like Graco really thought of everything. If you’re on the fence, don’t be—this seat nails it in every category: safety, comfort, and value. Highly recommend!

Very satisfied with my purchase!
My son is 16 months, and has been overdue for a convertible seat for quite a while. First off, I did a lot of research and comparing before I settled for this one. Safety was the number 1 factor for us and the ratings on this one were great. For vehicle comparison, we have a 2019 Ford Expedition. I was actually shocked at the size of this. We had to push the front passenger seat up front just a tad but it seems pretty narrow and not wide which is what we were looking for since we have an infant car seat in the back as well. I am 8 months pregnant currently and I was able to lift this into the car by myself and I’m small stature and this wasn’t as heavy as I thought it would be. We live in South Texas and it’s three digits on a normal day and I wanted something breathable for my son, whom sweats constantly and this was also a big deciding factor for me. I know I can’t keep him from not sweating ever but breathability was important and this fits the bill. The material is so soft, plush and comfortable. We haven’t tried the cup holders yet; I plan on following up with another update soon. My husband installed it so I can’t say much about the installation. It didn’t take him long to install, he did mention that putting the seatbelt through the car seat wasn’t very user friendly but overall the installation was easy. This car seat sits higher and my son is now able to see out the back window which is a nice perk. I read some reviews that said the color wasn’t grey, that it had a little bit of a purple hue to it but we didn’t have this problem. Ours was grey. Hope the pics and the review help. Update: 01/26/2021 My son is 20 months now and this seat has held up really nice. He seems comfortable in it. I like the extra leg room he gets especially since he has long legs. It’s solid and doesn’t move or rattle. The square cup holders don’t seem to be a problem. So far the set of cups he uses often fit just fine in the cup holders. However, we did have a small child yeti/rtic thermos sippy cup that wouldn’t fit in the cup holder which wasn’t a big deal. My husband transfers this seat into his truck often and it’s lightweight and easy to install. The only negative I would mention (and it’s not really that bad) is anytime I get my son out of the seat, his back is moist or sweaty but I think you’re going to get that with most cushioned car seats so it’s not a deal breaker for us and was to be expected when we purchased it. Please note, my son is a sweater so your child could possibly not have this issue and we live in Corpus Christi, Tx where 3 digit temps are a norm here. Overall, still very satisfied with this seat and I would purchase again. Hope this review helps - God bless

Easy to install - seems comfy for the baby!
First of all READ THE MANUALS - Both for the car seat and your vehicle!! It will make the installation process SO MUCH EASIER. You'll know what you're looking for (LATCH/Tether points, seat belt locks, seat positions, etc) Second - before you put the carseat into the car, fit it to your baby - it makes the initial fitting so much easier instead of trying to do it sideways halfway inside the car. I installed this in a 2016 and a 2009 Toyota RAV4, rear facing, with the LATCH system because my baby is still WELL under the 45lb limit for that system. It's light enough to manage on my own (also have a Britax one4life and it's a ton to move around, so it doesn't get moved at all) and the LATCH attachments are easy enough to cinch down to get tight. I love that it's extended rear-facing up to 50lbs and has the extendable legroom to make it easier on her as she gets taller - really the reason I have this and the Britax is for the extended rear-facing weight/height limits. Baby is comfy in it, she does get sweaty from sitting in it sometimes but it is July and 90+ outside so we're all sweaty TBH. It's easy enough to adjust with the handle at the top and it's best to adjust the recline before attaching the seat belt/LATCH belt because if you do it right - it won't be moving afterwards. My mum is able to manage the straps and buckles (tough with arthritic fingers) but my 14mo hasn't figured out buckles yet so we're safe from her trying to help herself out... There are nice little pockets on either side of the leg rolls to pop the metal buckle into when getting her out of the seat so it's clear for her to sit in next trip. I'd buy this 5x over if I needed to get a lightweight, extended rear facing car seat again and would recommend it to anyone looking for that type of seat.

op-Notch Quality, Comfort, and Safety – A Must-Have for Growing Kids!
The Graco Extend2Fit Convertible Car Seat (Spire) is hands down one of the best investments we've made for our child’s comfort and safety. From the moment we installed it, we could tell it’s built with high-quality materials and thoughtful design for growing children. The seat offers exceptional comfort, with soft yet supportive padding that keeps long car rides stress-free. The Extend2Fit feature provides extra legroom in rear-facing mode, which is perfect for toddlers who are getting taller but still need that rear-facing safety. Installation is straightforward, and the adjustable headrest and harness make it super easy to adapt as your child grows. Most importantly, it gives us peace of mind. Graco is a trusted brand, and this car seat lives up to that reputation with excellent safety ratings and solid construction. Pros: ✅ Excellent build quality – sturdy and durable ✅ Very comfortable for long rides ✅ Extend2Fit feature offers more legroom in rear-facing mode ✅ Easy to install and adjust as your child grows ✅ Highly rated for safety – feels secure and reliable ✅ Stylish and sleek design (Spire color looks great too) Cons: ❌ Slightly bulky – takes up a bit more space in smaller cars (but worth it for the comfort and safety) Overall, the Graco Extend2Fit is a fantastic choice for parents who want a reliable, comfortable, and safe car seat that grows with their child. Highly recommended!

Good overall seat, just tough to clean
I have had this for 5 years. I have bought several of these. I recommend. Easy to install. Easy to move from car to car. Easy to move from rear facing to front facing. It is a bit frustrating to clean though. So I recommend putting puppy pads on the chair when you are potty training. Size fits in both our truck and car. Feels sturdy, but thankfully we have not had to test that in a crash.
