Berndes Spatulas for Non Stick Cookware - Turner Spatula Ergonomically Designed Black Slotted Spatula Turner Nonstick Kitchen Tool

My mother has used one of these for over 20 years, even after her old one melted, due to user error. These are great and I've bought a few of them, over the years.

This has become my go to spatula. Narrower than most but large enough to flip most items, great for stirring gravy, when lifting items out it drains excess frying oil or liquid very well. Sturdy, light weight, comfortable length. Best of all, cleans like a breeze in dishwasher. No problem with residue like my silicon cooking utensils, you know it's clean. Only con, perhaps in the future they will increase the end curvature a bit to work better with the curved sides of a pan. Wish I had bought two.

I was very specific and asked seller if spatula was a Berndes, they emphatically said yes. It arrived yesterday and it is a RangeKeen. I looked at a spatula I purchased a long while ago and it is a Berndes and it is melting. So it doesn't really matter who burns their name on it. I still like it, a good size and it while it may not last FOREVER, it works well.And the new one from RangeKeen is a little larger.

This is a great spatula....ergonomic, easy to use and very easy to stir fry. Williams & Sonoma used to carry this, but they stopped a number of years ago so I've been searching high and low for this. So glad to have finally found it. I believe there are two similar models on Amazon. This is the good one...it's high quality glass filled Nylon that is flexible and long lasting. The cheaper Asian import with a similar design is not as good in quality and can melt if left on a fry pan.

This product, for $21.55 is NOT the Berndes spatula they are advertising. The one that arrived is branded as Range Kleen and is made in China. If you want to purchase that spatula, they are being sold on this site, TWO for $19.97. So any way you look at this product listing, it is overpriced, false advertising ,and a scam.On the other product description, it states they are now manufacturing this same product. But I have one of the old Berndes spatulas and although it looks the same, it does not feel the same, and I do not think the Berndes is made in China. Different product.Amazon needs to be more careful about this type of thing. I expect better.

It's a lot flimsier that I expected. But it does the job. Not a revelation as others have posted here. And a bit smaller than you think.That said, it's a spatula :)

Best Ever - Stands up to the DogsI have owned a few of these over the years and love them. I've had to replace a few, but only when I leave them too close to the edge of the counter and a dog grabs one. I have found them hours later and they are still mostly intact. Any other spatula would be gone!As to quality. They are rigid, with just the right amount of flexibility. Add in the short, ergonomic handle, and this device is like an extension of your hand.

I wish it was just a little bit wider. That being said, it does exactly what I needed it for and it seems really well made. I laughed at some of the one star reviews - one said it was too flexible, the other said it was too stiff and the edges were sharp. I wonder if they were reviewing the same thing! I don't think this is very flexible and that's what I really like about it. I can chop up ground beef while cooking and the spatula doesn't bend at all. The edges are sharp so you can get under eggs to flip them. It doesn't scratch my cast iron and I've not had any issues with melting. Overall, I think it's a great spatula.
