A must have hub for Tesla model Y
This hub is very easy to install. After installing and initializing by pressing brake pedal and holding both thumb turns on the steering for 30 seconds, it works flawlessly.

For the new Model 3s
I loved this thing. Took me a few tries and carefully I got it in. Works well and fits snug. I wanted to upload a pic but I refuse to give Amazon access to my storage.I have a Model 3 with the Type C and USB outlets.

Love It (After Receiving Replacement)
Updated review as of 1/29/24Both Amazon, and specially the seller, were very responsive. The seller offered both a replacement unit and a refund.I received the replacement unit and it is all I wanted it to be. It recognizes my MicroSD card immediately, and all the other ports work. After giving it a other chance I am really happy with this product. The one I originally received was definitely defective.I would definitely recommend this unit, mainly because the seller really cares about making your purchase experience a good one.Below is my original review where I gave them one star, but now I updated my experience to 5.Old review: “I bought this unit to streamline my Tesla dash cam setup. The unit came in a nice box, with good documentation, a magnet to use with your solid state drive, (if you're planning to hide a small SSD within it), and a cable to connect your drive to the unit). The thing is that the unit came looking dirty and dusty, as if it had been sitting in a warehouse. It looked like pre-owned.The installation is super simple and it fits perfectly under my 2020 Tesla Model 3 Performance wireless charger. The left side has 1 Type-C connector and the right side a1 USB-C that both connect perfectly to the ones in the Tesla.I had power for the wireless charger once I connected it, but all the data ports were dead, no connection no matter what I did.I am expecting a replacement because I really like the design, functionality and looks. I will update this review once I install the replacement. Hopefully this was just a faulty unit sent by mistake. It seems like a great product that I hope it works properly next time. The last picture shows my MicroSD card and adapter I use for the dash cam. Those don’t come with the unit, and are what I plan to use with it. It’s a better alternative than the portable external hard drives since those MicroSD cards are made to be used inside security cameras and are meant to be written and overwritten continuously, plus the data is stored faster than with an external hard drive. That is my personal choice. If you are going to go the MicroSD card, I recommend the Samsung PRO Endurance model. They are made especially to be used with dash cams. For the adapter, make sure you use the Samsung MicroSD card reader. Don’t use any adapters that have multiple slots or your Tesla won’t recognize it and will think you inserted multiple USB cards, so you won’t be able to have it recognized nor formatted within the car menu.As always and before you plug in your new MicroSD card, make sure it is formatted in a laptop. Format it to exFAT OR MS-DOS fat and then insert it in your car USB slot. Once recognized it’s ready to to, but you can always let the car format it again before the first use so you know the car is creating the right folders within your new USB or MicroSD card.”

There should be a better way to align the ports as you have to do it blind and it's not easy.
The "secret door" could have been better made....all you need to do is push it in with your finger with no force. It does the job...but for the quality.....could be much better!

Good price for a good product
Are there better products in the market? Sure there are, but you’re going to spend a lot more for them thank what this hub costs. Initially I thought it was broken and you probably will too but just plug the hub in and reset your screen by holding both left and right scroll wheels in for around 10 seconds. Once it reboots, you should be good to go. If you’re in the fence about this hub, don’t be, it’s a good hub.
