Excellent
These are great for listening to music while studying. The mic works and worls well ( I wear them sometimes while playing xbox and no one has asked me if I had changed mics and my other headset is an Astro a50). The only real negative is that when I try to use them for on the phone, the person on the other end will get a horrible staticy noise. Again, this is only for phone calls. Over all I'm pretty happy with these and would recommend them for studying or watching videos or stuffUpdate: They're pretty durable up until you run them through the wash (RIP). My previous pair would sometimes come apart where the earpiece and cylinder meet but nothing too bad. I repurchased since they didn't survive the short lived expedition through the washer and dryer and I was quite surprised when a volume adjuster was added. That alone bumped this up from a 4 star to a 5 star. The audio quality is great when you consider their price and construct (you honestly won't be able to "beat" a solid pair of head phones in the audio quality department). All in all I highly recommend if you are looking for a good pair of earbuds, these are the ones you should get.

A sometimes painful experience
I've had these headphones for about two weeks and have all but given up on using them due to the random starting and stopping I explained in the cons section. I cannot be certain if this is due to a combination of my specific phone and the headphones, or if it's the headphones themselves. All I do know is that these are the only headphones with which I've had this kind of trouble.Pros: The headphones fit well, the snug fit blocks out a lot of background noise. I can still hear music while riding a noisy subway, which is better than I could say for my last set of earbuds. The fabric cord is cool and the metal around the earbuds looks pretty neat. Also, the headphones can really pump out the volume. While I've had to blast my phone at full volume for other headphones, anything past 50% with these is almost painful in quiet settings. In louder settings, where I want to drown out background noise, I can bump it up a few notches and still hear whatever audio is playing.Mehs: Sound quality is alright, but sometimes sounds like it's coming from down a long hallway. Sound clarity sometimes changes mid song, as if something was interfering with it and the interference was removed.Cons: I'm not 100% sure what's causing it, but these are the only headphones with which I've experienced the following. At random upon moving my phone around, or setting the phone down near some of the usb and monitor cables attached to my computer, my phone will bring up the talk to search google screen, start playing music, or stop if I was listening to it. It often resets to the default headphone volume of about 66% even if it was set to a lower volume before. As mentioned before, these headphones can be painful above 50% volume. The sudden blast of music is both startling and painful.

Excellent materials, good sound, not the best for running.
I was impressed with the quality of the materials in these headphones, especially for the price. Immediately when I held them, I noticed that the sheath is made of a thick cloth, which I didn't expect, although I think it's pretty cool. It also comes with two other sets of rubber ear pieces to fit different ears, or if you just lose the ones that come on it. And the ear pieces are nicely angled in towards the front of the ear, which I had seen on hard plastic earbuds, it not on any with comfortable soft rubber like these have. Also a plus. I think above all, the materials feel durable, which is a plus for me. I don't know if the cloth sheath or metal speaker housing will prevent shorting (my second most frequent problem with earbuds, right behind straight up losing them), but they definitely feel like they will weather wear and tear better than any others I've owned. My only complaint is with the controls. I wouldn't recommend wearing these for running, because, at least for me, the little button that pauses/skips songs gets jostled around and really interferes with my music. And isn't the whole point of earbuds to make listening on the go better/easier? So for me, if these things lost that button, I'd give it a 100. But if you're not planning on wiggling around too much, I would recommend these.

Great Sound, Price, and Durability
I have used these earbuds for a month now and am very impressed. The Skullcandy Titans I used before this were more expensive, much less durable, and did not have as good of a sound quality as these. These fit nicely (I use the smaller tips) and I've worn them for 8 hours straight with only slight discomfort afterwards. The durability is great too; Mine have been dropped, stepped on, cord rolled over with a chair, had an 8lb laptop dropped on them, and been too close to a space heater. I dropped one of the buds in a cup of water, and after a few days of rice drying they still worked great! I just ordered a backup pair.My only complaint is that I'd like a slightly longer cord (reason they ended up in the water cup and under the laptop).

Good sound, poor durability
Pretty upset with the quality of the headphones. I ordered them and forgot about them for awhile. I picked them up one day before a run and decided to use them. The sound is fantastic and it has a really sturdy design. However, my left ear bud sound now cuts in and out and is unusable. I haven't pulled on them or anything. I've only had them for about 2 months and they have only been used a handful of times.
