Haters don’t hate! Lol jk ;)
I am ashamed to say I hesitated to buy this wonderful product because of some of the quality comments. I think this is the best product I’ve ever used and here is why…Economically - As a heavy pipe and b0*g smoker for years it saves me money. Bic lighters cost about a dollar. That means in less than 6 months I would have spend more money on Bic lighters than buying this cool lighter. Actually if it lasts a year which seems pretty standard from the comments voicing concerns then I would have saved about $30 which is not much, but a nice return on a low cost investment.Environmentally - 18 plastic lighters that will last in a landfill “forever” vs 1, mostly, wood and metal lighter. That’s a win. That more biodegradable option is the same size as less than 2 plastic ones… I’m not saying I’m saving the world, but that is a sizable difference. 9 times less trash is a pretty good improvement in book.Use/Style - The flame selector and flame position are perfect. The wood finish is awesome. I couldn’t tell from the pic that it is a brushed gold. I honestly am not wild about yellow gold to begin with, but the distressed look they use is a perfect complement. In my book; this is absolutely a 5 star product! Thanks so much YUSUD!!!!

Very surprised by its dependability and longevity, 2yrs and still sparking.
For the price, this has been a very dependable lighter. It can take two or three clicks to get a flame but once it catches it provides a nice thick flame to light a pipe. From the reviews this seems like a “hit or miss” product but I have been using mine for the past 2 years, regularly, and am very pleased with it.

This is Chinese garbage
I've owned this piece of garbage for about six months, and it is absolitely the worst lighter I've ever purchased. I need to refill it every two times I use it, and it typically chooses not to light most of the time. No spark, no fire. This is Chinese crap that is just an opportunity to take some of your money and provide nothing in return. Avoid at all costs.

Doesn't stay lit, doesn't hold it's gas
Beautiful lighter has a nice feel, what is beautiful. Cannot light and even a light wind and it doesn't hold it's gas charge very long. Maybe a leak? 2 to 3 weeks of occasional use whereas I have a good quality butane torch that lasts months on a single charge

My wife loves it
Bought this for my wife who has been going thru expensive lighters like a hot knife thru butter. I got this because the typicall butane lighter flame is so intense. I wanted to get her a softer flame, similar to a Bic but nicer and refillable. The quaility of workmanship is not the greatest. The metail looks cheap but the wooden body (not sure it is real wood), looks nice. This is now here favorite lighter. she's been using it everyday and I refill it quite often and so far, it's working perfectly.FYI, a tip if you have problems with butane lighters failing to light after a shortwhile. I didn't know this but discovered, you need to bleed the air out of the tank before each refill. If you don't do it, eventually, there will be no room for the fuels so even though you can see a spark, it won't light. I use a jeweler's philips to press the refill nub down and let the air out.
