Great inexpensive set of pickups!
Arguably better than the factory pickups than came in a $700 guitar.I have a ESP/LTD Kirk Hammett KH-202 which is the lower end version of their legendary KH-2. One of the reasons why the 202 costs less is because they use some generic “ESP-designed” humbuckers instead of the EMG Bone Breakers…which I just so happened to have laying around so I promptly swapped out the generic ones for the ceramics.I bring all of this up because these pups sound better than those that came in the KH-202, which is not a cheap guitar. Very rich and warm neck tones and bright crisp bridge tones. The pup selector that came pre-wired with the pups feels solid with no mushiness or side play. Volume and tone dials all work and allow for a lot of adjustments to get the sound you are searching for.I was fortunate in that the screw holes for the pick guard lined up for me (I had read in other reviews that some weren’t as lucky). The pickups look great, however the selector switch and the volume/tone dials totally look like they came from a kid’s plastic novelty guitar, but I expected that due to the price. I already had new metal knurled knobs on hand and it was an easy swap for a more sophisticated look.Installation was very easy in that you only need to solder up your two grounds and input jack wire. Everything else was wired and bundled for a clean professional look. I was actually able to drop the whole assembly into a Fender that already had strings on it; I just loosened the strings a bit and slid the old parts out and then slid the new set in. Wam bam done. It took longer for my soldering iron to warm up than the installation. The product was well-packaged. All parts that were separated like the screws and back plate were individually bagged. Pick guard and Humbucker came with a protective laminate to prevent scratches, which you peel off. Everything came in a fairly large box that had form-fitted padding keeping everything separate and suspended so that none of the electronics are hitting anything during transport. Instructions and letter from the seller were clear and used proper grammar (most of us are familiar with the hilariously-bad translations that come with Chinese instructions) and the wiring diagram was very detailed. All in all I am 100% satisfied with the purchase. I’m sure that if you’re someone who is very picky and very experienced with different pickups then you’ll be able to tell that these aren’t $200+ pups, but if you’re shopping at this price point then you’re probably not some audiophile who is obsessed with maximum quality.

Easy install and great pickups!
This product deserves 5 stars easily! I took out the pick guard from a Fender Strat and soldered off the existing connections. Installing this loaded pick guard requires only soldering 3 points, and literally only took me a few minutes, and I’m not even that great at soldering. The pickups are nice and crisp and sounds great in all positions. The volume and tone pots are nice and responsive as well. This is an unbelievable deal for a brand new sound. I even bought two of these to use in both of my Strats.Just beware though that you may have to use a tool to shave down part of the pick guard if it doesn’t fit into the guitar cavity. I had to do that using a dremel tool on one of the Strats I have. You also may have to drill holes for the screws if they don’t line up to existing holes, but that isn’t a huge deal.

Great value for the money
I bout this loaded pick guard to see if it would improve a squier bullet i had hanging around. I tried to put an american pro pick guard set up in it but the cavity was not deep enough for the 5 way switch. So this slid right in and man i am impressed. It sounds great with the 500k cts pots and the pick ups sound great. Overall great product for the money.

It's like getting a new guitar! Made my cheap squire sound like a $600 guitar!
The media could not be loaded. As far as I am concerned it was well worth the money! It breathed new life into my old cheap SquireFor about $50 on Amazon and some time with a soldering iron, my guitar is better than ever!Only negative is that some of the holes didn't line up but it was easy to fix.I just gave the screw a little tap (softly) with a hammer to start it into the guitar body and they screwed right in. Simple job of soldering to the jack and running the ground to the bridge.

Running through a mustang ii practice amp
The media could not be loaded. Running through a mustang ii practice amp. The guitar is a american strat. Swapped from tex-mex sss to these hss pick ups. Sound from the new pick ups are warm and gritty. These hss lack the high end from the tex-mex single coils but I'm okay with that because I wanted a switch from that tone. All in all I'm very happy with the tone they produce. Very balanced when switching through the pick ups. The hum is very minimal compared to the sss I had. I found myself just adding a bit more tone on the OD/distortion pedal.

LAMSAM Prewired Pickguard with SSH Pickup Set
Nice pre-wired pickguard! Has a plastic protective sheet on it to keep from getting scratched. Includes back cover piece and all new screws plus 2 spares. Single coil pick-ups did not have plastic protective film on them and are a little scratched and had "grime" and finger prints on them but did polish up fine. The humbucker pick up was covered with plastic film and is perfect mirror finish.Very easy install, a little soldering to attach a ground wire to the rear of bridge and a ground/hot wire to output jack and done. Tone knobs do sound a little weak, don't have a lot of swing in the tone change...probably the result of lower quality POTS. I am doubting that these are actual Alnico pick-ups as well but they do sound good.
