Will this extension work to connect kraken x62 aio and a rgb hub?

Will this resolve the 3.3v pin issue on some WD EasyStore drives?

possiablely, you could rmove the #3 3.3v pin on the adaptor, as per a quick research, that is the pin that sends 3.3v to disable the drive.

Do they fit snugly ? One problem I have is some of the splittlers I've tried use hard plastic that cause problem when disk vibrates.
