I’ve wanted an egg chair for years and after finally moving into a place with a balcony big enough for one, I knew I had to get it! I’m absolutely in love 😍. It’s beautiful, super comfortable, and it looks perfect on my balcony. My only minor complaint is that the assembly was definitely a pain and took quite some time but it was 100% worth the effort. I’m extremely happy with how it turned out and would absolutely recommend it!

So I absolutely love these chairs! I spent a lot of time researching different egg chairs before deciding on these because I was so nervous to have to pay shipping fees on the return and so far I'm very happy with my purchase. I'm curious to see how well they hold up over time, but my first impression is excellent. My spouse is 6'5", so we specifically needed taller, larger egg chairs. His head does lightly touch the curved top when he leans all the way back, but only slightly. I might add a tie head pillow for extra support, or he'll just have to avoid reclining quite as far. The chairs are quite wide as well, maybe wider that I anticipated for the space but I have the space to work with, luckily. I added the little outdoor palm pillows for a fun decorative touch, and I think they complete the look perfectly to add to the aesthetic I’m going for. Can’t wait for another bench I ordered to come in. One of the features I like is the thickness of the seat cushion. I had read many reviews of other egg chairs that mentioned thin, uncomfortable cushions, so I was happy to find these are much more substantial. I did have to steam the cushions after the photo was taken from the way they were packaged but that’s just me being particular. The back cushion could be a little plusher, but it's still comfortable and certainly good enough for relaxing. I saw reviews about the difficulty of building it. I was able to do It by myself, maybe holding the two pieces on step one I could see someone maybe needing assistance. I was able to hold It up and insert the top and bottom to get the screws in. My fingers were just a little raw after from tightening, but I just wanted to make sure it was really secured. If these don’t hold up in the future, I’ll update my review.

If we didn't have that capability, I think we may have had to send the chair back. Also, you need to put some tension on some of the pieces to get them to attach, and it was helpful to have two people to do it and to keep things steady. The company says that one person can put it together in 30 minutes, and that might be true once you have everything unpacked and if your parts all fit together perfectly. With the extra drilling we had to do, it took the two of us a little over a hour.

Pros: I’ve had these for almost 3 years now and I absolutely love them. Love the design, color and i put it together myself. Cons: it wasn’t so easy to put together and some of the bamboo pieces started unraveling during assembly but I didn’t want to make a big deal so i just kept it. I left outside on my balcony most of the time and it’s become dirty but unfortunately I’m unable to remove the cushions and was the cover. When I attempt to do so, it comes out in particles. I think I’ll be getting a brand new new one and maybe not keep it outside during bad weather.

This is easily one of my favorite purchases from Amazon! I love the width of this chair—it’s exactly what I was looking for. I can sit cross-legged with room to spare, making it feel like a chair and a half. The seat is also much deeper than I expected, which adds to the cozy, cocoon-like feel. It’s incredibly sturdy with a solid frame, though I’d recommend adding a lumbar pillow for extra support. The cushions are on the thinner side, but there’s enough space to add additional padding if needed. I also added grommets to tie them down to the frame since the material is a bit slick, similar to Sunbrella fabric, which led them to gradually slide off. But, the grommets have held up really well because the fabric is so strong. I have mine on a porch that’s open on two sides, where it gets plenty of sun and wind-blown dust. Amazingly, it hasn’t faded, and I haven’t had to clean it once—the dust just doesn’t stick! I’m actually typing this from my chair right now, and I couldn’t be happier with it!
