Strutmasters Air Suspension Conversion Kit compatible with 2013-2018 Dodge Ram 1500 Conversion Kit With Light Fix Module (DR14FM)

So i waiting 2 years to write this review.I have a 2017 Ram 1500 express that had air suspension that kept failing. I found this and saw the reviews and decided to take a chance. IT WAS WORTH IT!!!The instructions could be better BUT.... that's where youtube comes in to help. Type in Air suspension conversion instalation kit on ram 1500 and there are some really good videos that show step by step. So with the videos and instructions that come with it, it's not bad. It's been 2 years and everything is still working fine and nothing has broke. I did run into a small issue that was my fault with the wiring but when I called them for help, they were very nice and very helpful and solved it very fast.I did take the time and replaced other worn part that i had to touch to install this kit because I'm already there.I highly recommend this product to everyone i know that has a Ram with air suspension. Or to anyone that has air suspension issues. Ill even buy another ram (if i need to) with air suspension knowing this product is here and how easy it is to install and how well it works.

Over priced, however they might have worked well. I now know the cheaper ones can’t hold my eco diesel truck so this just might.

The components themselves seem to be made well and perform as advertised. The instructions for disassembly and installation are a bit vague but for the most part you can follow along.The only real problems are that the instructions have you remove the camber bolts on the lower control arms to access the front struts and while it does work, there are like 3 other ways to access it that are WAY less work than realigning the lower control arms and trying to reset the camber. On the truck specifically there is also an upper shockmount bolt in the rear that is extremely hard to access. Nowhere in the instructions does it give you a heads up that you'll need to modify a 21mm wrench to fit in a tiny slot on the inside of the frame right above the gas tank.I called Strutmasters tech support before I started to ask if I needed any special tools since the instructions don't mention what you really need and was told no. When I'd disassembled the truck and found the shockmount issue I called back and they put me on hold and then told me to look on YouTube. Amazon sells the 90 degree wrench you need, it's an easy thing to mention needing.After an alignment (you should get one regardless of the camber bolt thing) it rides great. It's quiet, it sits square and I don't have to stress about air suspension issues anymore.All in all it's a good product. I think for the money they could spend a bit more time providing detail to their instruction guide. You'll see people say it takes about an hour per wheel but we found it to be closer to 2.
