Great flavor.
Taste great with my chicken. Delicious. I won’t spend over $3.99 for it. I purchased for $2.99 and seen it as high as $12.99. Crazy price fluctuations.

Best Tikka Sauce in a packet by far
The Flavors are authentic and gives a great spice kick to it as a good Tikka should do, but no so hot you cant taste anything, the explosion of spices is just wonderful. Wonderful and had since bought the other flavors too

Pretty good
Pretty good base for a Tikka Masala dish. I love making indian food. I usually make Tikka Masala from scratch, but some days I want a convenient way to make it. When I saw this I figured I'd try it out. Now of course the flavor is slightly different than my own, so I added some other seasonings to make it more familiar to my tongue. Right out of the package i'd say it's a bit more acidic than i'd like - the tomato acidity really comes through. I don't really like that, but i was able to neutralize it with some other seasonings. The recommended amount of meat to add was a bit much - 2.2lbs. I added about half of that it really thinned out the amount of sauce. Perhaps I just like my tikka masala saucy. In any case, this is an easy way to have some spicy indian food quickly. Definitely recommend!

Very spicy cumin flavor
I ordered the Passage to India Tikka Masala, and it is pretty good. It's pretty easy to make, and you can pair it with several things. I just had it over rice, and it was delicious. It is incredibly spicy, so not all people or children may be able to handle it. Just using a small amount over rice versus more is good since the flavor is so powerful, you don't need that much. My young son usually can't handle spice too much, and apparently he loves this so much that he's forcing himself to eat it all because it's so good. It just tastes like an incredibly spicy cumin Indian type dish. This would be really good mixed with chicken breast, but I just used it plain this time.

Made a wonderful dinner (and lunch for the next day too)
Some days it’s just good to have an easy to make home meal. We made this with about a pound of chicken, sweet potatoes chucks, and a lot of peas, since everyone should have some veggies with dinner. We served it over some Basmati rice which was another easy component that was made in a rice cooker. Didn’t take much time to cook at all. How was dinner? It was great! The spices in this Australian made sauce were just about perfect for us, not too mild and not too hot. We really got the taste of a good Indian Tikka Masala. The package said best by 29 Sept 2024, and I received it in October of 2023, so almost a year to use it in. Overall I liked the convenience of the product and all the taste without having to put in all the work for it. The best part is that I have leftovers for lunch tomorrow.

A good base sauce
This is a pretty decent base sauce for creating Tikka Masala at home. You can certainly just use it straight out of the package as it comes, however with most store bought sauces it tastes much better if you can add some fresh ingredients to it when you’re cooking. I will say that this tikka sauce is a bit heavy handed on the spice. On the back of the packaging they have some suggestions for what to add to enhance it - however I think it needs more than they suggest to make it palatable. I added the sauce to a pan and threw some cooked chicken breast in with it, and added half a cup of red onion, half a can of tomato paste, a cup of Greek yogurt, and a tablespoon of butter. It ended up tasting great! It’s a really good sauce base, and I think you need to look at it as a starter and not the finished sauce. Adding the other ingredients helped a lot.
