Great travel case
I ordered this so I could stop carrying my laptop and files from office to home - saves wear and tear on my back. It was fatter than I expected and at first I thought I might have ordered a bit too big a bag. As I got used to it though, I decided it is really just perfect. It has enough room to use it for overnight trips, well organized, and I love the little laptop bag that comes out separately if that's all you need for the moment. It can be attached to the handle above the main bag freeing up more space for clothes in the main bag. The telescoping handle extends very easily and seems sturdy enough - although I am not certian when I get the bag REALLY crammed full if it will be rigid enough - I may leave additional feedback on that in the furture. Bag seems well balanced - I have not had any trouble with it trying to tip over on a slope like my old set. The bag material is very sturdy and all the zippers and movable parts work perfectly. This is a well made bag. Wheels are large enough to make a trip over some grass to the car easy and unstressful. Not sure how this bag will fare as a carry-on bag if you fly. It looks too big to shove under a seat but I haven't tried yet. This looks like an overhead-bin bag but that's fine by me; I like my leg room. I recommend this product.

Perfect and Surprising
This case is the best computer bag I have ever had, and it had an unexpected surprise after an initial disappointment. I travel extensively and I put a beating on these types of bags. I bought this one two months ago, and I absolutely love it. I accepted it with a little misgiving at first. I have a large 17" laptop, in a synthetic butyl rubber sleeve. The separate bag that comes with this case will not accept such a machine, and at first I was disappointed. However, I quickly realized that not only is the separate bag not advertised as being able to take a 17" machine (it fits a 15" machine perfectly), that same bag is IDEAL and seems tailor-made for my projector, with pockets for cables and the remote. The 17" laptop (even in a sleeve) fits easily into the middle pocket of the main case just ahead of the handle (it will NOT fit in the back pocket behind the handle but a 15" laptop would). The separate bag fits over the extended handle using the provided strap, and the two bags put together like that roll perfectly secure, with all bumps absorbed. Nice thick material, metal zippers, decorative yet sturdy metal zipper handles. Heavy seams. The telescoping handle is robust and smooth. When you open all the zipper pockets all the way with the handle all the way extended at the same time, the bag just lays out the pockets on the floor, instead of falling toward you and bopping you on the head with the extended handle, a particular characteristic that has caused me to dramatically shorten the life of certain cases. You will not be disappointed with this case, no matter what equipment you have. I can't think of what else I would ask in a case of this type - if you need more, you need to start looking at the upright type of rolling case. UPDATE FROM 2017, January I am still using this same case, 3 to 4 years later. No wheels or zippers have malfunctioned. Nothing unraveled. Dirty now, from midwest winter travel, wheels have a flatspot or two, but still going absolutely strong. You should buy no other wheeled case of this size.

Best computer case
I've gone on 6 trips so far and took the case with me. Every time the trip was a breeze. I can put it on the upper rack sideways or front ways and it fits fine, doors close without having to push or jam anything. The compartments and zipper are sturdy. I pack a lot of stuff, but only want to carry 1 carry on baggage. The zippers hold well. The handle may look flimsy, but if you jerk the extended handle every which way because you are too lazy to carry it, it still holds true. And we're talking about 35 lbs of stuff. There's a lot of cheaper 17 rolling case, but you get what you pay for. I've tried store brands where the zipper are flimsy or the case doesn't hold and rips easily or the wheels are wobbly. So here's my break down. Pro: 1) Best 17in case I've used, worth the cost, unless your laptop is only $200, then buy something cheaper. 2) Sturdy zippers and compartments 3) Multiple pockets and holders (Velcro/nets) 4) Strong extended handle (hollow metal can be deceiving) 5) Strong fabric, I've ran into corners that would rip my other cases but this one held Con: It's actually a preference and not really a con 1) Get rid of the 2 folder compartment splits and just make it 1 large compartment. I think I'm gonna tear mine out. 2) On the plane, the bag is almost the exact width of the narrow aisle with only a 1/2 inch room on either side for you to roll it, so rolling it is difficult. That's the only time I actually pick it up and carry it. Will update for next month. I'm gonna take it on 2 international trips. That will be fun. update* Went to Malaysia, Thailand and China. Still using the same bag and no holes, rips, broken zipper or broken handle. Love this bag.

This is an economical and durable rolling backpack
I am a teacher in a school with five stories, stairs, and a elevator that is slow and unreliable. I also have to walk a distance from the parking lot, and I am frequently lugging a large quantity of books, ungraded papers, and a heavy laptop computer. At the beginning of the current school year I decided that lugging my shoulder bag laptop case, often weighing 30 lbs or more, to and from school, was not to my liking and I invested in this rolling case. Firstly, the good: The case is well made, the wheels roll smoothly, and the telescoping handle is sturdy enough to stand up to a reasonable amount of abuse, but smooth enough to extend and retract with the use of only one hand. The compartments are roomy, and there are several sections. I especially like the removable brief case that I can use when I need to carry only a small number of my usual load of papers to or from individual classes. The bag is large enough to fit my 17 inch laptop in the laptop area, although I admit the bag is not made for this, and the fit is tight. Still, I am able to get the lap top, the cord, and 20 - 30 pounds of books and papers into the bag comfortably without anything falling out. The zippers are of good quality, and run smoothy, even when I am juggling many things in both hands and can only use one hand to close them. This bag takes a beating, up and down stairs, in and out of my trunk, and often overloaded, but still looks nearly new and has held up well to the abuse. The disadvantages: This is a heavy bag, even when empty, which takes a toll when I have to carry the bag manually up and down stairs. And, the pockets are arranged in such a way that when you do NOT have a heavy item (like a laptop) in the back, the bag can fall forward and dump the contents of the other pockets. In other words, the empty bag is front heavy, and does not stand upright when the zippered compartments are fully opened, or most of the weight is in the front of the bag. Still, the disadvantages are slight compared to the advantages. I looked at many more expensive bags before choosing this one, and I am very pleased with the way this bag is holding up. I would purchase this again.

Great Computer Bag Great Price Just what I needed.... agian
I travel almost every week. I use my case for carrying my laptop computer, wires, GPS, MP3, work file etc. Essentially this case and contents is my office while on the road. Over the years I have purchased two of this same model of case. Every time I go to buy another case I look at other models and brands but always go back to this tried and true case. My last case last over 250,000 miles by train, plane and automobile. The compartments are roomy, the case and working mechanisms are tough and work great for a long period of time. The telescoping handle is long enough that even at 6ft 2in I can pull the case around very comfortably. At one point I was carrying two laptops with 15 inch screens in the same computer bag. I bought the last two case at Office Max styling is a little different but essentially it is the same case. I bought my current case from the seller listed above. Also note the 15 inch note book case is very durable to. I still have these cases that came with my other rolling bags. These are still used frequently and are so tough they still look good as new. I bought the last two case at Office Max so some of the styling is a little different but essentially it is the same case. I bought my current case from the seller listed above. Pricing is great service is great. Funny about the price. The price of my current case at $99.99 was actually less that the price I paid for same case three years ago.

Perfect!
I travel weekly and this is awesome for the laptops (sometimes 3 of them, 2 is better, absolutely wonderful for 1), the paperwork, all the associated cords, chargers and extra pockets for the passport and receipts. It does fit in the upper bin for larger aircraft, but ... anything smaller than an ERJ regional jet, you get to kick it under the seat in front of you and your "smaller" one goes in the upper bin. You could do a gate-check, but you still have to pull your laptops. If you over stuff it, say goodbye to the upper bin and possibly under the seat, unless you take out your laptops and protect them in a separate bag. I use a Wilson Leather computer tote for the laptops and everything else goes in the roller bag. I do travel with luggage underneath, what can I say? I'm a girl, and I need my comforts! Once I get to my hotel, everything switches up to the one roller bag and its ready for the office. Switch back just before heading to the airport and its rather easily to get through security and boarded. Update: It lasted 3 years before the wheels fell off when I landed in New York this week. I didn't notice until I got inside the terminal , the noise crossing the tarmac at a regional airport hid the fact I was scraping along on one side. Ordering my second one today. Yes, the telescoping handle needed to be jiggled in order to collapse all the way these last few months, but considering the punishment I put it through? It's money well spent. The amount of digital gear I travel with has just increased over the years and the wheels/handles gave out before the zippers and material.

Very nice roller bag
The last laptop roller bag I had lasted many years and saw a great many places in the world, but it was falling apart so I decided on this Wenger bag to replace it. This bag is great! It has SO much room! I was truly amazed at how much I can fit into this bag. Since I often carry small hand tools, wire, electronic parts and other sundries with me on jobs I was very pleased to see that this bag is so large and the compartments so well laid-out that it makes it easy to leave my small toolbox at home and just carry the one bag. The rollers are quite nice; very smooth and fluid. The handle feels at tad flimsy but I think it will be fine. Most roller bags have similar-feeling telescopic handles. The bag is lightweight enough for comfortable carrying by the handle. It doesn't come with a shoulder strap but it would be too bulky to carry that way anyway. It also comes with a separate small laptop case, perfect for traveling lightly (and over-the-shoulder carrying). The only thing I can see that might be a deterrent is that this bag is probably not going to fit under your average airline seat, so it would need to be stored overhead. Not a big deal to me but something to consider if you like the window seat. You could probably use this bag as your one carry-on (including clothes) so I think that's a fair trade, especially for the storage capacity, and then use the included laptop case to stick under the seat on flights. So far I really like this bag. It was a great upgrade my old one!

I love this case!!!
I absolutely love this case! I am usually hesitant to purchase items like this online, but let me assure you, what you see it what you get, and I couldn't be happier. I purchase another rolling bag online, and it was okay. I love this back because the rollers are quiet! With the other bag, you could hear me coming a mile away. I have used this back for work, school, and business trips. It fits all of my needs nicely, and I like how the smaller laptop back can slide onto the handle and ride on top of the larger case. It is very sturdy as well. I do a lot of walking, and this back has gone the distance with me and held up beautifully. With the last bag (also purchased from amazon.com, but not a wenger) the wheels started falling apart, and it was just a total mess. This bag has managed to resist dirt during all of my travels, and after a year still looks very nice. I like the size as well. Helpful for someone like me that wants to pack in everything! This bag is a nice compact size, yet still fits all of those important things you absolutely need to have with you. Then you have the smaller bag for all your little necessities, so you can leave the larger bag behind if you need to. I just love it! This is nice quality, and I can't imagine anyone being disappointed with this bag.
