SitSpots 30 Circle Pack | Original Sit Spots

OMG where have these been for the last 18 years of my teaching career! I am a tech teacher K-5 with an awkwardly shaped carpet area that I use for whole group instruction. My kinders would come tumbling in and have difficulty with respecting the space of others. Nothing terrible, but a persistent nuisance and distraction. These awesome little dots solved that issue! We have commercial-grade carpet with a low pile and this stick to it amazingly well. There is no trouble with vacuums sucking them up or edges peeling up. Kids who are particularly tactile do occasionally try to pull it up, put it down, pull it up, repeat due to the auditory nature of that velcro separating, however, a simple redirect takes care of that. Given my awkward space buying one of those carpets that have designated spots to sit was challenging not to mention cost-prohibitive. These will do the same thing for you with the huge bonus of being able to rearrange them as needed for different lesson needs. They have been in use for over a month with no signs of wear. Even if I had to replace these yearly it would be worth every penny!

I love these sit spots! They stick securely on the carpet - there is absolutely no concern about running a vacuum over them. The small 4 inch size is perfect for second graders - students know to put their bottoms on top of the sit spots, so I have very few problems with students picking at them because they can't reach them. The sit spots are also much, much cheaper than a rug! I couldn't be happier.

These are my favorite! I just bought a new set after 6 years of use in an elementary classroom! I love the color it adds to our classroom AND the structure it gives my students on the carpet! Definitely add them to your wishlist!

I am using these in my music class for Per-K through 3rd grade students. They make sitting on the floor in a circle so easy! We can move around the room and return to the circle quickly. Students have not tried to pick them up because they are small and hidden when they sit on them. They adhere to the rug because of the Velcro like back. The custodians vacuum right over them and they do not come up. My only regret...I didn’t discover these years ago!

Use these in your classroom over off brand spots! I’ve worked with both name brand and off brand sit spots, and I have to say the name brand is so much better. They stick to the carpet better, they are durable, they don’t curl on the edges, all around just a better product. I’m really happy with these.
