Assessment Skills for Paramedics

Having received this book today I was really eager to compare it to the second edition that I also have to hand. Comparing them side by side, it is obvious that every section of the book has been overhauled. For example, minor illness ‘epistaxis’ has been greatly expanded in the third edition. Looking also at neurological assessment, it has been rewritten to take in to account new guidelines and made the assessment process more easier to follow and digest. These where two chapters picked at random. This simply isn’t an edition upgrade with a few words dotted about here or there like, most academic books. This is a version that’s been torn down and rebuilt from the ground up.

I'm a full time frontline worker and trainee paramedic and this book has helped me develop my assessment skills more than most lectures have, concise and straight to the point. Definitely worth buyingEven considering purchasing the kindle version so i can have a sneak peek on my EPRF when i'm on the road

Great book. Had the 2nd edition.Amazon delivered it very damaged and spelling errors within it.

This arrived with a huge crease in the front cover. Not what I expected for a new item.

It’s really helped especially in my 2nd year, really recommend this book.
