The Legend of Sleepy Hollow: A Radio Dramatization (Colonial Radio Theatre on the Air) Audio CD – Unabridged, October 11, 2011

I enjoyed this audio performance. Lots of sound effects and inflections of the voice to bring this story alive and makes it interesting. It holds your attention to the very end.

This is magnificent - I have played it every night for a week. The Colonial Players are fantastic and the SOUND effects are unbelievable. You can hear the horses gallup and the Headless Horseman fly through the Bridge - I LOVE this production, can't get enough of it. The background music in selected sessions is really Halloweenie - thanks Amazon for this - can't wait for A Christmas Carol. This CD puts you right in the middle of Sleepy Hollow.

I really enjoyed this full cast telling of the story. Very well done.

This is great to put on as part of a Halloween sleepover. Turn off the lights and scare the crap out of the kids!

The sound effects make you think your part of the story.

I have always loved the story of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. Have been disappointed with some audio versions that have been extremely shortened. This is a wonderful adaptation.

My 7th grade class does a unit on "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow" every year. I usually read it to them, but this dramatization was a welcomed break for my voice.

Better than any movie remake and superb dramatisation by jerry robbins and the colonial radio players. But supposed to be true to the novel. Comes in a cardboard thin box with two cds but the box wont last long as you take the cds in an out. Brilliant radio drama and highly recommened. Let down by the design of the packaging. Only a minor quibble though.
