This aloe Vera spray was just delivered to me two days ago. I sprayed it on my hand and loved the way it felt on my skin…but the smell. I wasn’t happy. It smelled like the dried sweat of someone with a B.O. problem (even though I couldn’t really smell it after a few minutes. I couldn’t help wondering if the odor still lingered, because i wasn’t going to use it before being around other people if that was the case. I thought I’d only use it before bed, and then after it was gone I’d look for another brand. Later, I decided to try adding a few drops of one of my favorite essential oils to it to try to make it smell better. Since this was only going to be a trial, I poured some of the aloe vera into a travel sized spray bottle, and I was going to add the essential oil to just that portion of it, in case it didn’t turn out well. But then, something told me to take a sniff of the aloe in my travel spray bottle that I’d just poured it into. The unpleasant B.O. smell wasn’t there. I sniffed it in the bottle it came in, it smelled bad; and I realized that it’s the BOTTLE itself that is the problem, NOT the aloe! There’s something in that particular plastic reacting with the aloe vera that’s creating an unpleasant odor. When I put some into a different bottle (which has only ever been used for plain water before), and sprayed it on my arm, it smelled slightly floral, like a very light scent of roses. I was quite surprised, and relieved. So, everyone who has bought this spray, and commented here about the smell (I’ve seen several of these comments, and I agreed until now), try pouring it into a different bottle! I’m going to buy a larger spray bottle and put the rest of it in there. It seems that the people who work for Seven Minerals are unaware of this issue and are probably wondering what people are talking about regarding the smell of this product. I don’t think they have any idea, so I’m going to tell them. I’ll send an email about this, because they should know. Hopefully they’ll switch bottles if they know that the ones they’re using are causing an odor that puts people off. Nobody wants to apply a product after a shower only to end up smelling as if they haven’t showered in days. That said, I gave the product 5 stars because it really does feel nice and refreshing on the skin, especially in this hot weather. It also makes a great detangler and moisturizer for hair, even my type 4, high porosity African American hair that is not straightened and has always been quite dry. I’m so glad that the solution to the unpleasant odor was so simple, because now I can happily use the spray. I knew I didn’t want the hassle of a return and I didn’t want to waste it, so I was going to try to make it work. I’m glad that I don’t need to make myself struggle through using a product that I wasn’t happy with, which would have been annoying. Good product, bad packaging. It’s just as simple as that. I hope that this helps someone.

Pros • Well made and sprays on nicely! • Has no smell but that means whatever smell comes from moisture and sweat is what you'll smell like. • Has a smell in the container before spraying it in your hand, further confirming it isn't just water (and they say there's no water at all anyway). • No leakage for me. Not even when spraying it. • No skin irritation but "scalp irritation" is the better situation to address since I use it on my scalp and beard alone (so hair only). Cons • No cons at this time. Overall, outstanding product! I mixed it with tea tree oil drops for yeast killing and then I got squalane oil for locking it in. If anyone is trying to fight itch or dryness, attempt that combo and see what it does. Can't remember the last time I had an itch episode after this combo.

After reading way too much about the benefits of Aloe I decided to try the Organic Aloe Vera Spray for Body & Hair. I was most excited about using it on my hair because I have very fine hair that has suffered years of abuse from coloring, styling and the Texas sun. It is dry and brittle and heavy moisturizers do quench my cuticles but oftentimes weigh it down to an unmanageable state. I was hopeful that this was the solution to my leave in conditioner problem. I was also excited to learn about the benefits of using Aloe on the scalp. My scalp is an oily beast, itchy, prominent to breakouts and plagued by mild psoriasis since I was a child. I must admit, my hopes are pretty high at this point. The aforementioned Texas sun has also done a number on my face, causing a few sun spots as well as some premature crow's feet. Once again, I read that Aloe can help heal the skin and reduce the signs of aging so, fingers crossed. As of this review I have been using the product every time I get out of the shower. I don't want to make a final call on the results until I've been using it a little longer but immediate results are in. First of all, I like the ease and convenience of being able to just spray and go. I also like that I can use it to help remove the excess makeup left on my eyes after showering. It feels nice and cool on my scalp and doesn't leave my ends crispy when dry. It also doesn't leave a sticky film like every other Aloe product I've used over the years. It really feels like water and drys like water but it doesn't smell like water. It doesn't stink but I do wish it had a more pleasant smell. I know I can mix in whatever essential oil I want and make it to my liking so this is a moot point. Long story short, I have yet to see the results that I was expecting but I'm going to stay the course in hopes of reaping the rewards of the alleged benefits. Stay tuned for an update.

This aloe Vera spray is easy to use, applies easily and is odorless. It’s runny and seems to absorb instantly. This has four ingredients: 99.4% organic aloe leaf, citric acid, ascorbic acid and potassium sorbate. So pretty simple. I can also see if applying sun block or other scented items, this will definitely not interfere. I’m very sensitive with any lotions or odors, so I’m very excited about this.

I've been a Seven Minerals loyal customer for quite a few months now and I have to say their All-Natural Aloe Vera Spray does NOT disappoint! I have a 4c hair type meaning I rock an Afro; and I mainly use it for my hair as a replacement for plain water to detangle my coily curls as well as some minor skin problems. This product has done some wonders to my skin and especially my hair! The All-Natural Aloe Vera Spray has made my hair feel softer, prevented some hair breakage and I shed less hair now. And it leaves NO sticky residue or film! However, I do have to say that I'm not big fan of the smell...I'm very sensitive to scents but the smell of the Aloe Vera Spray ISN'T overpowering or pungent. It's a subtle scent that goes away within a few seconds. I just to be want clear that me not liking the very subtle scent of the spray is a personal preference...in no way shape or form does it reflect the high quality of this vegan organic product. I just wish they had scented options for the Aloe Vera Spray like something tropical or calming like lavender however, I do understand why they keep their ingredients clean and simple. We all know that Aloe Vera is the MacGyver of most plants! It has multipurpose qualities and I find it super useful! And the company of Seven Minerals makes sure this product continues with it's useful beneficial qualities...they even have an E-Book you can download once purchased that gives you all the DIYs and recipes for use of Aloe Vera. I have extremely sensitive skin. Now, I understand some reviewers unfortunately had a bad reaction. I honestly believe it is from the **necessary** preservative and vitamin C pH adjuster. The preservative is potassium sorbate. This is also used in certain food items- Food grade . I beleive that some of the individuals have an allergy to potassium sorbate. However, I am convinced this a very clean, unadulterated aloe vera spray. I have extremely sensitive skin. There are zero additives aside from what is listed. My face was very raw and sensitive the other day, and plain tap water even hurt ! I sprayed this on my face, and there was zero stinging, way better than plain water. The only other liquid iv been able to use is rosewater, so now I have two options for when my face gets bad. The rash on my face healed well. I also would like to mention the smell. I know it is unique to aloe vera sprays, because I have a bottle of sodium PCA with aloe spray by lifeflo. I had noticed previously that the lifeflo spray smelled a little 'different' ... anyway, this aloe vera spray smells almost identical ! This provides me extra peace of mind, because it is obvious now that it was the aloe I was smelling from the aloe pca spray - which is made by a brand sold in many health stores. The smell is not bad, just different. It smells kind of like cucumber with a very, very subtle sweet smell with a slightly "tart" after smell . This does not mean cloying. It's a very natural smell. It goes right away after applying. So, incase anyone was not fond of the smell, I can assure you it is unique to an aloe vera spray. It is not sticky in any way, shape, or form. There is no residue. *Please know how vital it is for any non anhydrous product to have a preservative. I would MUCH rather a preservative than have a bacteria and fungi infested product. That is a fact. I hope this reaches anyone who may not be aware of the importance of a preservative. Also, vitamin E is not one. It slows oxidation of oils only, and is NOT anti microbial. I mention this also because I saw a few questions asked regarding this subject. I just want to share this general information to everyone!! * *Back to this aloe vera spray- it's soothing and the closest one will get to fresh aloe without needing to refrigerate! I recommend this for many uses, especially summertime sun, bug bites, minor scrapes, as a cooling spritzer whenever. It can be sprayed on hair but it doesn’t do anything special for my hair I would not buy simply for hair (scalp soothing yes ) but not hair softening/taming/defrizzing. Note: This is made of the leaf juice (not the gel) Be sure to keep in mind this is not a cure all product; It’s meant to be soothing for skin and scalp. Perhaps consider a patch test first. One can develop an allergy anytime to almost anything, even if used it countless times.

Voglio fare una differenza in genere io utilizzo il gel per il corpo e questo per i capelli, portando i capelli abbastanza lunghi e di base avendo capelli mossi con questo riesco a non far appiccicare troppo il capello come fa il gel ma rendendoli sani e ricci. Guten Tag liebe Leser ;) Ich habe mir dieses Produkt als Make-Up-Vorbereitung gekauft und als Pflege für die Nacht. Ich hatte immer das Gefühlt, das Primer (Egal oder Spray oder Creme) meine Haut verkleben. Daher suchte ich nach einem Produkt, das pflegt, nicht klebt oder schmiert und meine Haut mit Feuchtigkeit versorgt. Genau das Habeich nun gefunden. Das Spray ist nahezu geruchsneutral ( natürlicher Aloe Vera Duft) und zieht zügig ein. Habe es auch für andere Sachen ausprobiert. Beispielsweise auf dem Rücken meines Partner nach Sonnenbrand und siehe da: nicht nur der Sonnebrand, auch seine Unreinheiten sind auch zuückgegangen) Selbst für die Haare ist es geeingnet. Habe mit Elumen gefärbtes Haar (RR@All). Nutze es gerne, wenn ich leicht fettig Ansätze habe, aber keine Zeit zum Waschen. Draufsprühen, bisschen einmassieren und trocken Föhnen. Das Haar ist belebt, klebt nicht und sieht wieder frisch aus. Zusätzlich ist es ein Feuchtigkeitsboost, auch für die Haarspitzen. Kann das Produkt nur empfehlen, für alle die der Chemie in der Dorgerie abschworen wollen, oder einfach eine natürliche ALternative zu vielen teuren Mitteln suchen!. Werde es definitiv nachbestellen, sobald ich es aufgebraucht habe ( Ist SEHR ergibig!) Beste Grüße an alle

Second time i ordered the gel and first time the spray. Both are perfect products! I love the spray, especially for my curly & wavy hair. I also love to massage my sculp with it. It is the best product for dry skin especially dry feet. Everything is perfect: the feeling, the smell (perfume free, neutral), absorption (fast), moisturizing. Love it!!!! Also 5 stars for their Customer Service: you get an email; they answer every question immediately; very friendly. And it is organic - no chemicals/ perfumes/ alcohol and a family owned brand.
