Pet Dremel
I chose this dremel nail grinder because it is rechargeable. I am very satisfied with its performance. It might not be as good as a dog groomers, but it works for me!!

I have a ~70 lb chow mix and her nails get pretty long and sharp. I try to cut down on grooming cost, so I clip her nails myself, but they're always sharp afterwards so i thought I'd give this a try. Works great! I completely removed the protector as suggested for a large dog. Next, I clipped her nails with clippers, and used this to grind them down. She's pretty good about letting me handle her paws for clipping, and didn't seem very alarmed by the grinder or the sound it made. I only gave it 4 stars as I've only had to use it once so far. I will certainly update my review if I have any issues down the road.

It does take a little longer than I would like because you have to go slow
I never imagined my dogs would be so accepting of me trimming their nails, but for some reason this nail trimmer doesn't freak them out. They won't let me clip them with regular clippers, and normally something vibrating against their paw would scare them. I don't know what it is about this product but my dogs don't really mind it when I use this on them. It does take a little longer than I would like because you have to go slow, and it makes a bit of a mess and produces a pretty bad smell. I normally just lay a towel down under them to catch the dust.Also I really like the grinder because you can shape their nails into rounded tips instead of sharp, pointy nails.

My dog's large nails didn't fit in the trimmer. A full refund was issued.

It takes a long time to do larger dogs nails. I ended up using my old grinder on them. But works ok on small dogs and cats

love the nail file
i love the nail filler. my dog was afraid of the other one i had and it broke down in less than a year of little use. this one is quiet and small. it is very easy to manuver. l have a tiberan terrier and her nails grow fast especially the due claw. she lets me do one foot a day, which is a big improvement over one nail with objections, a day.
