what are the lengths of the clips?

They are either 4.5 or 5 inches. In my set, three of them are 4.5 and on is 5. That's the full length from end of clip to end of clip.

Can you order 4 of the same rather than 4 different ones?

I would not order at all. They are worthless and will break immediately.

Anyone have issues w/ teeth on the clips wearing holes ? They sure look like they would punch through a shirt or dress and make holes.

Can these be used to “cinch” the back of a wedding dress as a sort of makeshift bustle? Mostly to keep a slightly too long dress off the ground.

I don’t know the these clips are strong enough to do that job. They are very inexpensive so I would suggest that you buy them and try for yourself. You can put them to good use elsewhere if not for your intended purpose. They are very sturdy and very attractive.
