I literally received today and used it. I was immediately amazed how well it defined my lips, looks natural compared to others and really complimented my lipstick. This is a nice pencil, soft, lasts long, inexpensive, but wish the color was just alittle bolder.

I love this brand when it comes to glosses, but the liner is just ok. It’s a little light for me and you can’t sharpen it. So it’s not my fave. Ended up giving it away.

Matches my skintone in the perfect neutral lip color. I can see this working for most skin tones. It's not warm, not cool, not dark, not light. This liner defines your lips and can even be blended a bit before it sets. Can be worn "bare" for natural, defined lips, or under your regular lip colors.My one complaint is that the cap on mine is extremely tight fitting. The pencil point broke off before I could ever even try the product out because I had to wrestle with getting the cap off. To prevent damage, I suggest retracting the product completely into the wand before placing the cap back on. That way next time you remove it, you won't risk breakage.It doesn't last as long as I hoped. That, along with the ill-fitting cap almost docked it a star. However, I am pleased with another aspect. As someone who prefers putting on a natural face most days but needs a little contour and definition, it seems impossible to find cosmetic products for this purpose that are true neutral/natural shades - products with a good amount of depth but not over-colored. Usually if they're pigmented enough to give definition, they are way too pink or yellow. So five stars for knowing what neutral is!

I received Beauty for Real D-Fine Lip Pencil in one of my Glossy Boxes last year and LOVED it!! I wasn't able to find it in a retail store, but was thrilled to finally find it online! This lip liner is perfect for every color of lipstick. It doesn't overwhelm your lip line. It is a natural, smooth liner that prevents lipstick from 'bleeding' into your lips. I cannot recommend this product enough. It simplifies my beauty routine and stays fresh all day!I use the product daily, so I go through two per month. Beauty for Real has a subscriber service which I have signed up for. The product is automatically sent to me monthly!! Perfect! Love this product and the business!!!

I ordered this in both “neutral” and “neutral deep”. I love them both! Even the “neutral” has enough pigment to give your lipstick an extra little pop of color. They both have a good pigmentation but neither one are bright, which is a huge plus! I’m am extremly pale with blonde hair and need a pop of color on my lips so as to not look washed out. This, underneath my lipstick or lip gloss, is absolutely perfect! Both of these colors are exceptional. Bold yet subtle. Does that make sense? Also the staying power is really good. Very happy. Thank you!
