Stainless Steel Heavy Duty C Stand

Replaced cheap light stands with these. Much more stable and better to position lights. They are much heavier and solid. Should have gotten these years ago.

I have owned a lot of light stands in the past of varying degrees of quality and cost and I really wish I would've started with this one all along. It is SERIOUSLY COMMERCIAL GRADE in materials, quality construction and stability!! I got this to use with a big $1,000 LED video light, and with this I don't have to worry for a second about it falling over or being bumped accidentally. This thing - while NOT light weight is exactly what you want out of a light stand for your studio. It can be portable, sure, but this is more suited to be set up and stay up because it's so big and heavy. I LOVE it! I was having to put weight plates on my cheaper tripod light stands and pray a stuff breeze wouldn't blow them over before. I really wish I would've just bought this one in the first place. Incredibly well built c-stand - but heavy. Allows me to really switch things up on shoots. If I ever folded it up it seems easy to store. It’s giant - can hold pretty much anything. I have a couple holding up several NEEWER cb200/300s. Dead simple to deploy and use.

Very high quality, solid, I use the Neewer 150 spot, which is heavy, but this stand works perfectly with it.

This stand is heavy-duty! You won't find anything better for the price. I've used it to support a Godox AD400 unit with 38" umbrella outdoors and it worked perfectly. Unit is well built and very easy to operate. It breaks down easy when not in use. I plan on getting a couple more of these to use with other flashes. Adjustments are easy to give you the perfect positioning for light.

Look, the deal with Neewers stuff is that it's really cheap, but you generally get what you pay for. It's really good for filling out a starter kit for a young photographer, but you know it's not going to hold up through a busy portrait, wedding, or event season. That's fine, not all pieces need to be top grade, and Neewer's products are a solid value. Save perhaps the 5 in 1 reflector, you'll find few successful photographers with Neewer products in their kits. Heck, B&H won't even sell their stuff. This stand is the exception. This C Stand is phenomenal. I ordered it as I had forgotten to bring mine to a location where I didn't think it was needed. I was wrong, so I got this shipped quick to serve in a pinch. When I unpacked it, I was stunned. It's built like a tank, has solid construction from top to bottom, includes an spring cushioned center column, and an extra grip bracket. It was better than the stand I'd left at home, and as good as just about any stand you can buy at a much better price. This stand belongs in an photogs kit and will likely last for years though many, many sessions. Should it fail me in the near future for some reason, I'll update the review, but for now, if you need a C stand, don't hesitate to buy this one.

It’s a moment, untill the moment is over. Purchased the c-stand early in my photography career has lasted me a very long time. The stand was so heavy found out later that it’s not normal for c-stands to be that heavy. YouTubers would always recommend c-stands as light stands but they’re not designed for that. I’ve pulled up to professional sets with gaffers side eyeing my set up, and assts complaining about the weight. It’s good when I was an amateur in the industry but outgrew it once I realized what real c-stands are actually designed to hold.

After seeing so many positive reviews of this light stand, my expectations were pretty high, and I was preparing myself to be disappointed. Instead, my expectations were far exceeded!!! This thing is built like a TANK! It's fully capable of holding my Flashpoint XPLOR 600 light with 4 ft umbrella Softbox without a counterweight and with no bending of the horizontal rod. I've never before been so satisfied with an Amazon purchase.

Acaba de llegarme y la sensación es que muy sólido y está bien construido, lo cual supongo hace que inevitablemente sea bastante pesado y eso supone ventajas e inconvenientes. Dado su precio creo que es una muy buena opción frente a otros productos similares que cuestan el doble y no sé que ventajas tienen que merezcan la pena. Por cierto que completamente plegado y sin las patas la columna central mide cerca de 130 cm, pero con una llave allen es fácil desmontarla en sus secciones y la más larga mide unos 105 cm, algo que puede ser muy útil para transportarlo en un coche. Eso sí, la vara transversal mide 120 y de ahí no baja.

J'avais besoin d'une structure solide pour filmer en hauteur et le c-stand m'a permis d'avoir une structure solide et stable. Son système de rotule dentelée permet une bonne solidité du bras. Il a vite remplacer le système elgato bras avec rotule qui supporter mal le poid de mon smartphone et du support smartphone.
